PaperTrade First Look (launch 10/10) 📰 Got extra curious about @papertrade_xyz after listening to the @notthreadguy x @blurr interview on Youtube So looked into the docs of what him and @izebel_eth are building: docs.papertrade.xyz/ === TLDR: Perps exchange up to 1000x leverage on BTC/ETH with max 10 mil position, one click buy/sell, no funding or slippage, bootstrapped LP on @HyperliquidX Fair launch of solana:4SNHBM2axbPCNXHrPPNLtdCRmnQVkq9cfFTyrJpJpump through trading losses with more emissions (100/$1) before 2 mil LP and slowly emits less as LP grows Stake PAPER to get more USDC trading fees with noticably more rewards after $5 mil LP. Interview mentioned PAPER not being tradable right away so curious when that pause gets lifted. Currently being followed and supported by folks like @blknoiz06 , @TaikiMaeda2 , @elliotrades , VC's, high volume perps traders, and other prominent solana + hyperliquid folks === How to Play (imo) 1. During initial launch 10/10, could prob lean towards being riskier with organic natural plays early on(ex. first few hours/day) due to the higher PAPER emission rates. Prob wouldn't force any losses as you might as well take profit in any positive positions and redeploy a new one with old/smaller size. 2. Stake any PAPER received asap to start receiving USDC trading fees 3. When PAPER becomes tradable, can determine whether staking longer is worth it or not personally 4. Can continue trading organically if already a perps trader there and want to stack more PAPER == Key Factors to Watch 1. This inherently relies on high-volume periods (perfect for euphoric/bullish times like these). It also means it may be suboptimal for less exciting times (ex., potentially December holidays). 2. Bots/AI agents may get in early ASAP at launch to get max emissions -so can see if still worth it by the time normal folks get in. 3. See impact of builder codes (1% revenue share) and if any prominent external products built-games, omni chain trading, additional tokens, more infra, etc. 4. See whether the perps trading crowd continues using the 1000x leverage, no funding/slippage/spread, etc. features or moves on to other exchanges since they'll provide the most volume and fees long term 5. Minimize risk' by getting in early 10/10(on a Saturday) at launch-if miss it by many hours or 1-2 days, not sure if worth pursuing unless a long term perps trader 6. Monitor potential red flags like FIFO debt queue of winners, holder concentration of supply, less volume with less PAPER emissions, etc. 7. See whether the solana/hyperliquid KOL cabals keep posting about it consistently whenever things start bullish again post Christmas holiday break Q1 2027+ === Overall Could see this cooking until at least Late November-Dec(when things usually slow down). Especially if this medium bull market has its next multi week leg up after this recent slight correction the past 5+ days. However, there will be many other exchanges offering incentives.
