🚨🗣️Simon Jordan: “The only way to evolve this game is to disband the Premier League, recreate it with a whole new set of rules that are actually fit for purpose.”

People have gotten so carried away with their bias towards the Manchester City case, that I think they’ve forgotten the extent of what’s actually being claimed. City weren’t found guilty of match fixing. We weren’t paying refs or involved in a betting scandal! This isn’t comparable to the Serie A for example. It’s not that deep. #mancity are the BEST ran club in the Premier League!! It doesn’t matter how you spin it.

Spending £65M on Mason Mount instead of keeping Marcel Sabizter for just £15M is one of the biggest transfer mistake!

Idea City were only spending as others is complete crap From 2009-18 over wages, transfer amortisation and impairments, City spent: • £272m more than United (despite United hiring far more staff) • £301m more than Chelsea • £802m more than Arsenal • £840m more than Liverpool

And there it is. Just after slagging off Britain from his Monaco tax haven; the racist, Brexit supporting, jobs destroying hypocrite, who set up a car factory in the EU, now puts over 4,000 UK jobs at risk. A true patriot. @INEOS @ManUtd

The Glazers have turned Manchester United, one of the biggest institutions in world football into an absolute laughingstock. Things won’t change until all six Glazer family members are removed from the club. Bad owners ruin good clubs.

So, based on things I have read today, some people are reporting that JJ Gabriel’s dad thinks he should be playing UCL & PL football at 15 and is now telling his son to demand to leave, and not show up to train todat and force a move... despite the fact he was set to make his debut tomorrow? Hard to know how much of this is true, but this is shocking. We saw what happened to Sancho and Garnacho when they acted like this and thought they were bigger than Man Utd. I am sorry, but JJ Gabriel is generational for his age. However, I don’t think he is physically ready for PL and UCL minutes. I think Man Utd are protecting him by doing this! If he plays a few times for us and underperforms, he will get rinsed like the Fletcher twins, and it will knock his confidence. I honestly think he has Ballon d’Or-level potential, but those influencing him could lead him to become the next Jadon Sancho. No 15-year-old is refusing to attend training and demanding to leave without influence from those above him. We see so many generational 15–18-yr olds in football not make it because the people around them big them up and create attitude and ego issues. Please, can no United fans send any hate towards JJ Gabriel. He is a 15 yr old kid who clearly has the wrong people around him. I understand that Barcelona is his dream and may be the best long-term place for him, but any normal parent would tell their kid to keep working hard, stay grounded and move to Barcelona when his registration ends in the summer.

I don't think many actually realise how big a talent JJ is. We're not talking Garnacho, Rashford etc. We're talking Yamal, Mbappe potential. If we aren't showing a pathway to development and the first team then you will 100% lose these talents to clubs who will. It's that simple

We are a failed country, we make nothing, we have deskilled our population, we outsource everything, we have sold off all our public goods & our people work to hand over their wages to rentier capitalism. We cant feed ourselves, clothe ourselves & our politicians have no answer & the Trade Unions are headlong into identity politics. What a mess.

Actor Jeff Daniel’s on Donald Trump: “We’ve lost decency. We’ve lost civility. We’ve lost respect for the rule of law. We’ve normalized verbal abuse. We’ve normalized bullying. Out the window goes character, integrity. We’re supposed to elect the best of us, not the worst of us. He’s everything that’s wrong with not just America but being a human being.” Do you agree?

I read with incredulity that City spent another £454m in the window. How? Surely they should be banned from spending until there is an outcome to the 135 FFP charges? Or are we at the stage we should expect there never will be? The on-going delay is an insult to fans everywhere

Grade 8 piano is the top grade for a budding professional pianist. On the left, a piece by Liszt which seems to be for the 1928 Grade 8; on the right, a piece by Liszt for the 2026 Grade 8. Why the decline in technical difficulty?

When Thatcher left office, Britain was in deep recession and two million people were unemployed. Funny how that bit always gets left out when rightwingers eulogise the supposed miracle of the 1980s British economy.
