The Sunflower is true affordable housing - meaning rents are no more than 30% of a household’s pre-tax income. As we prepare lease agreements for folks who will soon be moving in with rents of $289 and $303 per month, we are again reminded of how grossly inadequate incomes are

The double standard makes me so angry.
In 1995, Dudley George was killed by a police sniper after three days of occupying land near his traditional territory that had been taken by the federal government. I have been thinking about him a lot these days—especially when I see photos of protesters in hot tubs.
