We connect high level soccer players with collegiate programs and professional trial opportunities. We’re able to do this through our relationships formed as former players and coaches in the collegiate and professional soccer ranks.
We can identify high level players and introduce them to the right contacts because we’ve lived and experienced the same process as former players ourselves.
Yan Diamonde was playing UPSL 3 years ago, and now he’s Real Madrid’s most expensive signing. There’s a lot of soccer talent out here in the USA. A lot of it is under discovered. I’ve seen many high level undiscovered players in Houston, TX.
High Level Players: North Houston FC will be participating in the semi professional league, UPSL Premier, starting in late August.
Tryouts for North Houston FC will be in late July. If you’re a good player, and you’re interested in joining a club focused on professional opportunities for its players, send a DM or visit NHFC Instagram,
My team at TST 7v7 soccer tournament was Bumpy Pitch FC. My close friends operate the team. They won the $1M last year.
This year they’re knocked out in the semis. Gutted for them. Big investment. Not the result they wanted.
They lost to Landon Donavan and Mike Magee’s team
Next year is another go around. They’ll come back stronger.

This is important for top players:
If you’re playing on a top team and you’re one of the top players, it’s important that you don’t become complacent.
This will ruin your collegiate and professional opportunities.
Don’t starting thinking you’re too good, or you’re better than you actually are.
This is a dangerous path that will lead you out of the sport, unless you’re actually the 1% in the sport.
Read these words and take them serious. It happens to great players every year.
The top levels are different, you likely won’t be the best. You need to keep working hard and keep improving.
I just watched film on Charlie Davies from Houston, TXc Class of 2027— Rise SC ECNL:
He looks like a good player. Keeps it simple. Looks athletic and wins balls in the air. Connects his passes. He uses his body well to hold off players. Plays on the ground. Strong. Uses nice body feignts. I’d like him to look for goal more aggressively but he does well to go side to side.
Here’s his video:

There’s a lot of talent out on these fields. At this level, it’s a beautiful sport and we want kids to be kids, but there’s business here, and some of these kids are on their way to the professional ranks.
NIL isn’t just for football and basketball.
If you’re a high-level college soccer player and not earning NIL money, you’re leaving money on the table.
NCAA D1–D3 & NAIA athletes can sign sponsorships, promote brands, and get paid.
You don’t need millions of followers.
You need credibility, discipline, and performance.
For young athletes and their parents:
“He who is only an athlete is too crude, too vulgar, too much a savage. He who is a scholar only is too soft, to effeminate. The ideal citizen is the scholar athlete, the man of thought and the man of action.”

I watch a lot of youth soccer.
The difference between a good player and a pro prospect usually isn’t talent — it’s decision-making speed, athleticism, leadership, and consistency.
At the highest level, the details matter.
Want your players recruited? Help the people recruiting them.
Publish a digital roster or bring printed rosters to games. Names. Positions. GPA. Visibility creates opportunities for athletes.
What do you think about this question?
For me, scholarships and roster spots should primarily serve American players. If the goal is to develop the U.S. soccer ecosystem, giving more domestic athletes opportunities at the collegiate level strengthens our athletic, academic, and economic pipeline. U.S. players should compete against U.S. players in college.
If you’re not recruited to play Division 1 or 2 soccer out of HS, that’s OK. Junior college is a great place to start your college soccer career. Prove yourself at the college level and after 2 years you’ll find a spot in Division 1.
This is accurate. Coaches want the best players, but they have to know the player exists first.
MLS NEXT Fest 2025 delivered an impressive and well-organized experience. The event featured multiple vendors, on-site activations, gaming installations, exclusive apparel, and was hosted at an exceptional sports complex.
The Arizona Athletic Complex stands out as a world-class facility—24 high-quality soccer fields, a dedicated stadium, and an overall environment that elevates the level of competition and scouting.
The U17 and U19 MLS Academy age groups showcased a deep pool of talent. There is a clear pathway for many of these players to compete at the collegiate level, and a select group demonstrated the qualities and upside to progress into the professional ranks.
One improvement that would enhance the value for scouts and college recruiters would be the availability of complete player rosters with corresponding jersey numbers. This simple addition would allow for more accurate identification and exposure for the athletes.
Overall, it was a first-class event: strong organization, quality competition, a professional environment, and a clear indication that MLS youth development continues to move in a very positive direction.
Goodluck to the players and teams playing in the remainder of the showcase. @MLSNEXT
MLS Next Fest 2025:
Parents, coaches, team admins… help your kids get noticed by scouts. It’s great to have brochures to distribute with player names and uniform numbers.
This is one of the biggest mistakes that youth teams make; not promoting their kids enough and not making it easy for coaches to identify their names.
Colorado Rapids’s #35, Central Defender, is a very good player. Multiple times he’s dribbled out of pressure or calmly connected with his midfield.
The kid is cool, calm, collected and skillful.
His name is Angel Sandoval, 3.3GPA, 2010 birth year.
