This might not be the take you want to hear, but a lot of women have experienced collaborating with male creators who eventually mistake friendship for romantic interest and begin crossing boundaries and itโs rarely just one bad experience. Itโs years of the same behavior happening over and over again until they eventually decide itโs simply not worth putting themselves in that position anymore.
Iโm not saying youโre guilty of this behavior, but for someone whoโs experienced it repeatedly, even the possibility of going through it again isnโt worth the risk.
I don't wanna be more negative over the recent drama, but as a male VTuber who is openly male and has fought and clawed for every step up I've taken, I will tell you all this:
A lot of these girls will not talk to you at all if you're a man and it's always some excuse about being uncomfortable around men. As far as they're concerned you're not a real person from the word go.
This is why I donโt post any of my art. I donโt feel safe posting anything. I know the chance of this happening to me is very little but seeing stuff like this happening to other artist is just so discouraging.

Trying to find red eye lenses like these for a halloween outfit - dark red, comfy and not too big. the websites I could find doesnโt ship to Sweden and I donโt wanna go for the cheap Halloween lenses because they hurt my eyes ๐ฅน

I am so incredibly grateful for all the support on my birthday debut today ;; โก
Forgive me for getting a little sappy towards the end, but I am still in awe that today even happened- that I actually got to debut. I had come into the streaming scene a few years ago with no expectations for myself; I just wanted to put myself out there in hopes of making someone's day just a little better... to maybe bring a feeling of warmth to somebody who needed it.
I was inspired by vtubers I watched all the time as an adolescent, but I never imagined that I would get the privilege to be able to be one myself with a model of my own. I thought for sure I would be a pngtuber for the rest of my days, streaming to a small community consisting of myself and a few friends. But fate has a funny way of working because here I am, feeling so loved and cared for by so many people in my circle on my debut day.
I didn't want to cry on stream... but I really am thankful for each and every person who has supported me thus far- even if they aren't part of this journey anymore. You have all played a role in bringing me to this moment, and none of this would be possible without you all. The biggest of thank yous goes to my model mama @snacksmoon for the incredible work, dedication and love poured into my model; even pushing herself when she was sick to give me this incredible birthday gift. Please, please go give her the support she deserves.
Once again, thank you a million times over to everyone who took time out of their busy lives to come hangout, even just for a moment, with this angel. Thank you all for believing in me during my good and bad days, thank you all for lifting me higher into the sky- and thank you all for making my silly little dreams a reality.
