🚨Harry Kane on Mikel Arteta closing the line and trying to stop Bayern attack.
🎙️ Reporter: “Harry, Camera caught a moment Arteta closing the line to stop attack. What do you think?”
🗣️ Kane: “Absolutely! I honestly think someone needs to look into this because what Arteta is doing is crossing the line. This is football, not a game where you manipulate every situation and then act like the victim when things don’t go your way.”
“I’m sorry, but Arsenal need to stop behaving like they’re the only honest club in football. Arteta complains about everything, questions every decision, and somehow always wants the entire world to believe his team has been robbed.”
“If the officials find that he has crossed the line, then yes, he should face serious sanctions. A ban, a fine, whatever the rules demand. Nobody should be bigger than the game.”
“Arsenal fans can get angry with me all they want, but they need to ask themselves one question: if another manager behaved exactly like Arteta, would they defend him this passionately?”
🎙️Reporter: “So you’re saying Arsenal fans are part of the problem?”
🗣️ Kane: “I’m saying some of them refuse to see anything wrong with their club. They want respect from everybody, but the moment someone criticises Arteta, suddenly that person is the enemy. That’s not football debate; that’s blind loyalty.”
“If Arsenal want to be respected as champions, they need to stop acting like victims every time someone challenges them.”

I’ve gathered the funniest expressions of this Golden Retriever, who has rightly gone viral for the incredibly amusing facial expressions he pulls when meeting other animals.

Villa & Newcastle suffer I would normally sympathise but we did warn you that keeping Spurs in the league would fuck you two teams over Villa playing a second string team against them & Newcastle playing like their lives depended on it against us hope it was worth it 👍

It's 31 years ago to the day that this was broadcast - for my money one of the most joyous bits of TV ever committed to celluloid.
It is, of course, Mr Sting's appearence on The Smell of Reeves and Mortimer.

PGMOL and referees once again tonight showing that they have complete control over the outcome of a football game. Tonight for the first time in MONTHS we seen the ref implement the 7 second rule against the Leeds United keeper, awarding Spurs a corner during a kick out...
On top of this, then VAR decided NOT to implement the 5cm tolerance rule against Calvert Lewins offside, instead deciding that this picture is 'offside'. Incredible how inconsistent the refereeing can be in 1 game just minutes apart, also extremely coincidental how both decisions favour Spurs who are in desperate need of points to keep them in the championship.
Honestly if Spurs do end up in the relegation zone, the Premier League will probably just chuck West Ham a points deduction to send them down instead 👍🏻

Here’s the full clip again, showing Martinelli smacking the ball on Conor Bradley, then kneeing and pushing him off the pitch.
Disgraceful. Rancid. Call it whatever you want. But it certainly isn’t a surprise considering the club and manager he plays for.
