First order of business.
A couple media cylinders, some filters and a UV treatment light and you’re off to the races.
Or you could bitch and moan for 30 or 40 years, be given billion$ of dollars and do sweet fuck all about it.
I know which one I’d do….

When hard working Canadians owe money to the government, Revenue Canada seizes assets, pursues them in court, and garnishes wages.
When Liberal insiders pocket millions thanks to their connections, Carney basically tells them to keep the change.
Mark Carney isn’t here for you.

It's time to seriously consider that Mark Carney doesn't know what he's doing
Carney’s view of standing up for Canada appears to be making speeches and taking international trips, not fixing our own domestic policies that hurt us.

Good riddance.

“You can’t build a provincial economy on whale watching and coffee shops.”
We need to be a province that builds, makes and creates. We need a provincial industrial strategy and we need to get serious about the loss of industrial land to real estate speculation.
Once industrial land is converted to other uses, it is extraordinarily difficult, if not impossible, to get it back. And without that land, where exactly do we expect the next generation of manufacturers, skilled tradespeople and industrial employers to go?
This is one of the most consequential challenges we face in British Columbia, with a lot of damage already done. I hope the new government makes it an urgent priority.

Do you have the video clip where you said "You cannot build an economy on whale watching and coffee shops"? Want to use it for this week's podcast episode. I suspect it'll go viral LOL 📈

Ottawa has lent $141 BILLION to Crown corporations. 💸
On the books, those loans count as assets. They don't touch the deficit.
This week the Budget Officer told MPs there's "very much that risk" some never get paid back. If they don't, the write-offs land on the deficit. 📉
Canada Post is the test case.
Billions in "repayable" funding.
Biggest loss in its history last year.
Repayable with what?
And Carney wants more Crown corps??
Is this why Mark Carney is eager to create so many new Crown corporations? To borrow more money, count the loans as assets, and make the deficit look smaller while taxpayers carry all the risk?
Borrow it. Book it as an asset. Promise a balanced operating budget. 🤦🏻♂️
Basic math, eh? 🇨🇦

URGENT WARNING: PHONE SCAM, THREATS, AND SWATTING
I want to share what happened to me this morning because I never want anyone else to experience something like this.
I received a phone call this morning from a woman claiming to represent the CIBC Fraud Department. She told me someone had applied for a credit card in my name at 2:00 a.m. and that the card was already on its way to whoever had applied for it. She asked me to verify whether I had made the application. I immediately told her it was not me and asked her to cancel the card. Apparently, this person had some of my personal information.
She then instructed me to go to the App Store and download an app called CIBC Guard. I wasn't comfortable doing that, so I told her I would only consider it if my IT support person could join a three-way call and confirm that it was safe. She was fine with the three-way call.
My IT support person advised me to contact my local bank branch in Truro before downloading anything. I followed that advice and politely explained to the woman that I would be contacting my bank first. My IT support person then disconnected from the call, leaving the woman and me on the line. She suddenly started yelling at me, calling me a “fucking bitch,” and hung up.
At that point, I knew something was seriously wrong.
What happened next was absolutely horrifying.
Approximately 20 minutes later, the same woman called me back and told me she had a surprise waiting for me in my front yard and that I should go to my front door.
When I looked outside, I was shocked to see RCMP officers, including heavily armed officers, covering my yard and the street.
The RCMP asked me to step off my porch and walk to the bottom of my driveway. I was told that someone had called them claiming there were people inside my home, that I was being held hostage and hiding in my bathroom, and that two people had already been shot.
NONE OF THIS WAS TRUE.
I stood there in complete disbelief as armed Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia officers entered my home to investigate the report and determine what was happening.
Meanwhile, this woman continued relentlessly calling my phone and sending emails threatening to destroy me and my family. The RCMP were present and could hear her continuing to make threats.
One of the emails even claimed there were seven bombs in my house that would go off in 20 minutes. The email came from an address displaying the name **boom@isis.death**.
This experience has left me deeply shaken. What started as a suspicious phone call turned into a situation that put me, my family, the responding officers, and potentially others at serious risk.
Was I being punished for not downloading the app? I am baffled by this whole thing.
I don't know what these people are capable of or what they might try next, and that is a frightening thought.
This is a warning to everyone:
If someone calls claiming to be from your bank's fraud department or any other institution, do not blindly trust them.
Never download an app, click a link, share personal information, or follow instructions simply because someone on the phone tells you to.
Hang up and independently contact your bank using the official number on your bank card or its official website. Do not use a number or link supplied by the caller.
If you receive threats, suspicious emails, or anything suggesting an immediate danger, preserve the evidence and contact the police. If you believe there is an immediate threat, call 911.
Please be aware that scammers can go far beyond trying to steal your money or personal information. A false emergency report intended to bring an armed police response to someone's home is commonly known as swatting.
Going forward, I will be extremely cautious with unsolicited calls. I will end suspicious conversations and verify everything independently before taking any action.
I also found the same information Code One Colchester Page who verified this incident directly with the RCMP.

Canada can’t choose.
It’s not a person.
It’s a tax farm run by tax farmers that skim resources of the herd and sell off the unborn calves for farm debt incurred today.
Sometimes they let the tax cattle stampede against each other bickering with each other to select their next set of tax farmers.
It works because they don’t show the cattle the farm and the fact they are being farmed.

One of the most consequential elections of my lifetime.
I do not want my kids growing up in a zombie apocalypse where they are scared to use transport, are unable to use their downtowns and city centres. Kids shouldn’t know what fent folds are.
I don’t want them waiting to see a doctor for 8+ hours when they get a sports injury.
I want them to have the opportunity to be prosperous with good career options and not have a heavy financial burden.
I want them to live somewhere that doesn’t leave vulnerable people sleeping on the streets.
I don’t want them to see constant hate marches every weekend.
I want change. One clear choice this election and that’s the Conservatives.

Am surprised Doerkson was able to stay so calm, grounded & honest during the never ending lies & bullying from the BCNDP. BCNDP campaign was based on hate, division, lies & attacks. Will be refreshing to be rid of them & their continuous negativity.
Hmm, maybe it's South Sumas Road....
Hmm, guessing based on the location, this would be a structure fire here in #Chilliwack this afternoon? Looks to be west of Vedder Rd, near Watson Rd?

On the last day of the @BCNDP campaign, a @dave_eby social media video includes a purported clip of a nurse in British Columbia.
It is stock footage of a dental hygienist shot in Ukraine.
Not in British Columbia. Not in Canada. But in Ukraine. #bcpoli
Supporters of the BC NDP and the Green Party share a lot of the same values. Strong public health care, protecting the place we call home, and asking the wealthiest to chip in more to build a stronger B.C.
That’s why we're asking for your support and your vote to stop Conservative cuts, higher costs and chaos.
If we stand together, we can build B.C. strong.

“The government has no money, it all comes from you.” 🫵
Another excellent video by @StevenBonkMP.
Since 2015, the Liberals have spent more than every other government in Canadian history COMBINED.
What's really scary is that all that borrowing was done at extremely low interest rates, and now those bonds are rolling over into new, and more expensive, debt.
That's not stopping Mark Carney. He's spending more, and faster, than at any time outside of World War II and COVID.
The combination of massive deficits and a large national debt, with ever-increasing costs to service that debt, is a genuine threat to the economic future of this country.
We've seen this all before too. Guess who pays when the bill comes due? You.
