🚨 Now even Delhi Airport is being dragged into this crackdown. Airlines have been asked to submit passenger manifests 48 hours in advance for all inbound flights to Delhi. The government seems determined to make every possible move to suppress dissent. DEMOCRACY UNDER ATTACK!

In a rapidly changing situation with respect to protest in Delhi, demanding resignation of CEC Gyanesh Kumar, summing up the actions over the past 24 hours :- 1. Khap Panchayat representatives are appealing to people to both join or detest, from joining the protests on 10th Oct. 15. Massive social media campaign organised in support of CEC Gyanesh Kumar. He is being projected as saviour of Hindu Sanskriti. 16. Security detail,of CEC Gyanesh Kumar enhanced. He is going to be one of the most protected individuals in the country. *****Can’t recall such a divisive environment in our country over Election Commission in the past 3 decades of professional journalism. No government in india has ever made such massive security arrangements and imposed embargoes to quell a students protest, such as the one we see now. Not even when anti-reservation protests were at its peak in 1990. I hope the intelligence inputs are sound, if the govt anticipates large-scale violence, organised by protesting students. But if not, then this is a very serious matter, with major ramifications.

Last two weeks of FY end can get crazy enough at work on their own, and then they fully coincided with these Asian Games. Missed so much of live action and yet somehow could manage to catch fair bit of it. Can’t thank the team at @SportsArena1234 for their daily schedule and all the minute updates. Lifesaver! 🙏🏽 Also to @vinayakkm sir, who already know how much I admire his work, but this one is specifically for those ‘about to start’ posts. 😛 To @olympic_indian @VishankRazdan your watch alongs made office commute easy and fun. Especially that women’s 4x4…too epic 😂 @SportsIndia3 for all the day-end spaces to get a sense of fans’ sentiments and perspectives (wish the tribe, which continues to grow, is more patient, analytical, and less emotionally charged!) 🥲 Anyways, amazing last two weeks. Our champion athletes continue to make us proud one way or another. 🫡

WR2 to 4 & Sindhu She is the only who is somehow challenging them ! Sindhu lost all the games this year against 1-4 except that she beating all of them left right n centre. So yeah Sindhu is almost there but just is not able to finish the game. Her game has improved a lot.

WOMEN’S TRAP 🤷🏽‍♂️😂 Where do you even begin on how crazy this is at so many levels. And she’ won it in such a dominating fashion leading right from the beginning. Well done, Neeru. Massive achievement!

Yashvir Singh gave Sri Lanka's Rumesh Tharanga Pathirage a bit of the scare in the men's javelin throw. He was in the lead after three throws before Pathirage finally got the job done winning with 88.55m But a big personal best of 85.71m for Yashvir which is good enough for Asian Games silver on debut. Bronze for Rohit Yadav with 84.35m

You have done us proud everytime Keep you head high champion. The scheduling was cruel – at Hosakote, India
I needed a little time to put this into words. My Asian Games campaign is over, and I’m hurting. Three points from closing out that quarterfinal. I keep coming back to those three points. Like in China, long, demanding rallies at the most critical moments turned the match. I had my chance. Letting it slip hurts. Three matches in 18 hours. Back at 3 a.m., out again at 8:30 a.m. It took a toll. But after a camp that gave me every reason to believe, I wanted so much more. My team and I are already working on closing out those moments. We will fix it. I’m hurting, but that’s okay. I’m glad it still means enough to hurt this much. I still want this. I still bring all of myself to that court. That feeling keeps me going. There’s room for pride, too. From my first Asian Games in 2014 to my fourth now, twelve years of giving everything for India. I want to let myself feel that. One painful result cannot define a journey that means so much. To everyone who stayed up, cheered and believed: I wanted those last three points for us, too. Thank you for standing beside me. I’ll go again. 🇮🇳
