No one wants this stupid fucking arch, Katie. We want affordable healthcare and gas and food.
🚨President Trump is revitalizing and improving Washington, D.C. at the highest levels while Democrat-run cities around the country fall into despair—crime, decay, empty offices, and broken streets.
The magnificent Triumphal Arch at Memorial Circle—planned since the Civil War—will now be a top-grade Military Complex / Triumphal Arch. Drones. Snipers on roof and plaza. Ammunition storage. No facility like it anywhere in the World.

Gisele Pelicot was drugged and raped by her husband for TEN years.
During that time she saw countless doctors for memory loss, STIs, headaches, confusion & vaginal bruising.
They all dismissed her.
Some diagnosed her with dementia.
They could have helped stop the abuse.

Ppl SAID these abortion bans would kill women and here we are.
“Tierra Walker is dead because not one of her... health care providers would give her the one medical procedure that would have saved her life,” a lawyer for her family told @Jerickaduncan in an exclusive interview. “And they would not do that because of the immense culture of fear that has been created in the state of Texas,” she said, referring to the state’s restrictions on abortion.
“They just didn't care. They didn't care at all,” Walker’s aunt, LaTanya Walker, who often accompanied her niece to the hospital, told CBS News.
Walker died in December of 2024 from a pregnancy complication, after her family says she was denied an abortion multiple times. In an unprecedented legal battle, her family is now suing Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, the head of the Texas Medical Board, some of Walker’s doctors and others.

It absolutely wasn’t “edgy” to hook up with people as millennials. We hooked up with people because it was fun not as some counterculture revolution. My boomer parents had casual sex in the 60s and 70s

This is straight out of Handmaids Tale.
A high school trying to force girls to disclose the dates and lengths of their menstrual cycle.
Don’t comply? You lose a grade.
There’s absolutely no reason a school needs this information other than to exert control over our bodies.
High school requires girls to disclose their menstrual cycle—or lose a grade.
Parents must send a note in writing to gym teacher with "suspected length of their cycle."
If female student does not participate—it will result in "loss of points toward final grade."
Students who bring in the required note from their parents will then be required to complete "dry land" exercises—to make up for the missed swimming.
"For sure against privacy for the young ladies that are going to class," said a parent.
"And they shouldn't have a grade reduction."
Lakeview High School says they plan to "engage parents in a conversation" about the new policy.
The school is located in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

There’s a loophole in the 13th amendment that permits involuntary servitude for those convicted of a crime. This is slavery by another name, forced labor.

This is exactly why abused women don’t want to go to the police.
At least 50 law enforcement officers were using their access to license plate readers to stalk women.
They protect their own. They abuse their power. They make it impossible to escape.
Authorities have charged or accused at least 50 law-enforcement officers of using license-plate readers for unauthorized purposes, including to stalk women without their knowledge or consent, a Post analysis of police and court records found.
In 26 of these cases, police investigators and prosecutors said the officers used the technology to spy on their wives, their girlfriends, their exes, their exes’ new partners or women they wanted to meet. In other cases, police or prosecutors have not specified the alleged surveillance targets. Flock’s system was used in 46 of the cases analyzed by The Post, while the other cases involved competing products.
The investigation has led to the discipline of two officers accused of missing license-plate readers.

Additionally, per my grandparents, there were others stranded in Sharkey County MS on the Sunflower River bridge that were subsequently rescued and taken to the military park in Vicksburg and placed in tents. Promises were also made that never happened!
When the Mississippi River broke its levees in 1927, thirteen thousand Black refugees were stranded on a strip of high ground at Greenville — and the National Guard would not let them leave.
Boats came. Boats left. The boats were for white families.
The Great Mississippi Flood covered an area the size of several states. In Greenville, Black flood victims were held in the open on the crown of the levee — a strip only a few feet wide in places — for weeks.
They were kept there deliberately. Planters feared that if Black labor evacuated, it would never come back to the cotton fields.
So the Guard sealed them in. Refugees were made to unload relief supplies at gunpoint. Food was distributed to Black families only in exchange for work, and in some camps only to those wearing labor tags.
A man was shot dead by a guardsman for refusing to work.
Herbert Hoover, running the relief effort and running for president, learned about the conditions. A Black commission he appointed documented them. He promised reforms — including land for Black farmers — in exchange for keeping it quiet through the election.
He won. The promises were never kept.
The Black South drew its own conclusion. The flood accelerated the Great Migration: hundreds of thousands left, and Black voters began the long shift away from the party of Lincoln that reshaped American politics.
They dammed the water and dammed the people behind it. One of the largest forced-labor episodes of the American twentieth century, and it has no memorial.
This is why we must keep documenting our stories that they try to erase. Get yours: savvypurchase.samcart.com/pr…
