My wife built her first North Star! So proud! 😍 Actually, it’s THE first complete North Star without heat-set threaded inserts. (Because, bewilderingly, not everyone who owns a 3D printer owns a soldering iron. Go figure.)

Printing another #projectnorthstar v3, to build by the book, using all the right fasteners & other mechanical bits. A couple of those parts are still wrong, but replacements are on the way. So many custom springs! 😄 Also, 75 boards passed. These are the ones that need fixing.

Taking 1100 sets of uncoated #projectnorthstar lenses over to the coating factory this afternoon. 😁 First ~100 sets (probably more like an 80% yield, actually) should be done 10 working days (12 days) from now. We’ll talk over the timeline for the jig for coating the other 1k.
