In response to @spencerpratt video on SB771 yesterday, Ed Howard with Children’s Advocacy Institute (who helped write the law) said bill would not touch Pratt’s comments on Newsom and fire.
He noted first amendment still protects hateful, vile speech but not credible threats.

The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office says toxicology results were NEGATIVE for any measurable amount of alcohol or drugs in her system the day she was cited for misdemeanor driving under the influence of a drug. The Sacramento County DA’s office declines to file any charges in this case.
FULL STATEMENT FROM SACRAMENTO COUNTY DA’S OFFICE:
“Regarding the arrest of Sabrina Cervantes, we have now received the toxicology results from her blood sample that was obtained on the day of the accident.
The toxicology results were negative for any measurable amount of alcohol or drugs. We have reviewed of all the submitted evidence, including police reports, witness statements, and laboratory results. Based on our ethical duty and the burden of proof in a criminal trial, the Sacramento County DA’s Office declines to file any charges in this case.” – Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office
