4 years ago, we embarked on a new era of VCT, the partnership era. In this era, we became one of the most decorated teams in VALORANT.

Four VCT Pacific titles, five international grand finals, qualified for all but one international VCT event, and became the first Southeast Asian team to win a global FPS trophy! 

We forged memories, entertained you with our whimsical plays, and made you squirm with our questionable agent comps.

Today, we close this chapter, as we make our exit from VCT Champions Shanghai in 7-8th place.  Not quite the result we wanted, nor expected. And not how we wanted this era to end.

To all the paper people, former and present, thank you for believing in us 🙏🏼 Paper Rex will return. #WGAMING never gives up.

I’m not saying momentum and mental don’t matter, they absolutely do. The distinction here is whether it was a defining round that would have clearly changed the outcome of the game. An issue at 12-11 is obviously very consequential. An issue at 1-0 is still consequential, every round is, but they’re not the same. Anything could have happened after round 3. At the end of the day this is a judgment call, no question, but replaying the entire match would have done more harm than good. Like I said, there’s just no perfect solution here.
