The goal of every Jaguars game should be for them to go up by enough points early so that they can spend the rest of the game engineering the record setting kick for Cam Little,

The most productive strain of socialism came with Bernstein via revisionism. It’s what gave birth to some of the sewer socialism and its wild that none of these people ever talk about him.

Might just be me, but this just comes off as advocating to lying to people. I have no issue with people changing opinions, but you also have to explain why you did and how you came across that new one.
It can be annoying to watch people you don't approve of opportunistically pivot to new, better views but it's still better for people to adopt better views than to stubbornly stick with bad ones.

It’s pretty amazing just how quickly they turned on Piker. During the Dem primaries, progressives and DSAers were climbing over each other to campaign with him. As soon as the primaries ended, they all started claiming he was just some rando Twitch streamer who doesn’t matter.

Shower thought, but something that I haven't seen a lot of discourse around, I don't think you can have socialism/communism with consumerism.

It’s kind of wild how it’s 2026 and there’s still dictatorships.

One thing that gets lost in the discussion about democracy, is how important institutions are. I think a big reason why we see the rise of online media as well as conspiracy theories is that post covid, people lost trust in them. This is a reason why we see backsliding.
How should universities respond to the Arday scandal? Should they crack down on plagiarism and academic fraud? Ghent University's response, apparently, will be to fire the person who reported it.

Still think Wicks is one the best late round darts out there.
Dontayvion Wicks just made a great catch on a deep ball leaping in the air and beating out two defenders

Great day to be an $ELVA owner.
Replying to @TheBigBerbowski
I own them all, but got in when valuations made sense. Like I bought $CTS and $KN about a month ago when thr market was dipping. I think $ELVA might be something you really like since you just wrote about PSIX.

SoftBank’s investor presentation is one of the greatest things ever made. I’ve been thinking about it all day. These are the real slides shown in a speech where Masayoshi Son said he wouldn’t retire for at least another decade. The goose stuff is perfect. group.softbank/media/Project…

The longer Hormuz stays blocked, the more competitive US industrials become relative to foreign providers.
Contrary to consensus expectations, the ongoing conflict in Iran isn’t just a geopolitical risk – it is actively widening the U.S. industrial cost advantage. While global competitors in Europe and Asia are grappling with surging gas prices and heavy war-risk premiums, the United States is emerging as a structural winner in heavy manufacturing. vist.ly/42hft

$BWEN is such an interesting name. Bought a few hundred shares today. It's a really high risk/high reward type of nano cap. They have so many great tailwinds. Latest earnings presentation: s25.q4cdn.com/250961377/file…

NEW US electricity data ⚡️ In March, renewables produced more than a third of US electricity for the first time ever, even overtaking gas generation! Wind and solar combined reached over a quarter (26%) for the first time.
