When Florida residents sued insurance companies at record rates for NONPAYMENT, Republicans made it harder to sue.
The @orlandosentinel and @SunSentinel obtained records that show Fla. insurers paid more than $1 billion to their own affiliate companies while crying poor.
The Senate ordered us to "Destroy or Return" the documents.

the individual "frat boys"--the fraternity--& Cornell University are liable & can all be sued.
but that's just the civil case. Ithaca police should be gathering evidence for arrests & the criminal case.
(yes, universities downplay such crimes on their campuses but that will not save the criminals from proper legal actions. in fact, the university might be named as "aiding & abetting" the crime of rape.

People have no idea how difficult it is to leave. Your amygdala has been high jacked. You can't plan when you are in constant fear. The cycle of abuse is an effective trap. Not to mention if you have no income or a support system. And, probably sleep deprived, which is torture.
