I installed the new offline-first Flint model (recursive.com/updates/introd…) locally, and it looks like its knowledge cutoff is ~2.5 years ago. It knows how to work with tools/mcp.
It stucks in loops quite often because of incorrect bash command writing, fixable via global AGENTS.md
I then asked Opus, Sonnet, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Grok 4.7 to review the same completed task.
Yeah, you don't want to ship that code (which was literally adding a new input field to modify a user data stored in the wp_users table in WordPress admin area when editing a user).

Last week, my company @AwesomeMotive acquired a popular free WordPress plugin WP Crontrol.
My primary goal was to give this incredibly useful plugin a good home because we use it ourselves, and I have a lot of respect for John Blackbourn (original creator).
WP Crontrol will remain free forever.
As part of our commitment, in today's release, we just added all the previously Pro features in the Free version including Cron Logs, Cron Alerts, and newly added Cron AI.

Crazy how everyone calls those presentations with slides having animations as “videos”.
I created a ton of “videos” during my uni time.
@powerpoint was and still is ahead of its time. Also, you can export it as video.
I use WordPress Studio extensively to test in clean WP (while symlinking the plugins I'm working on).
I just learned that Studio also has the MCP tool, not only CLI.
I ran various tests, and MCP approach is 2.1x faster, 19% cheaper, and pollutes context 3.6x less.
Then main reason why CLI loses is a discovery phase where it goes through the --help to learn the semantics. And there are differences in output (CLI sends a ton of unnecessary garbage for agents, like spinner frames, etc).
I’m still on iPhone 14 Pro. And I kind of want iPhone Duo. I don’t know why. I assume because of a different shape - an experiment. New form factor, something different.
512GB version with Apple Care (which I think this phone actually needs) is becoming a 3k EUR phone.

Surprising quirk - when creating a project in @googlecloud, you cannot use the word "google" in Project ID, even if it's a substring. It's fine if in the Project Name.
"g00gle", "googl", or any non-"google" variations are fine.
But "google" specifically is forbidden.
