The game should be moved. Period
Saints are scheduled to leave tonight for Paris, where they play the Steelers next Sunday at Stade de France. Despite intense riots and social unrest there, the NFL says the game is on.
“Preparations continue as scheduled for NFL events and the game at Stade de France next Sunday,” the NFL said. “We continue to work closely with local authorities and partners on all operational and security matters. We are also providing the two clubs with regular updates. There’s been no disruption or impact at league sites.”

You should probably sit this one out too.
It is a basic principle of American democracy that the government can’t selectively target individuals simply because of their political beliefs or what they say. But that’s exactly what the Trump Administration is doing to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota.
To understand why this is so appalling, it’s important to know the facts. Congresswoman Omar came to this country with her father when she was 12 years old. Five years later, her father became a naturalized citizen. If Ilhan had been 18 at the time, she would have had to apply for citizenship separately. But because she was 17, she became a naturalized citizen automatically.
Congresswoman Omar went on to graduate from college, work as a community organizer, become the first Somali-American legislator elected to public office in the U.S., and win a seat in Congress. There, she has been one of the Trump Administration’s fiercest critics, which has led the president to repeatedly single her out as someone who he believes does not belong in this country.
Now the Administration is actively trying to deport Congresswoman Omar, seemingly based solely on the unsubstantiated theory that she was actually 18 when her father was naturalized, and therefore is not a citizen. Federal agents have raided her home, confiscated personal records, and seized her phone — all to try and uncover a nonexistent smoking gun from 20 years ago that will somehow make their case.
Think about that. The full weight of the federal government is being brought down on a law-abiding elected official because she has dared to criticize the president. And it’s not the first time this has happened. Under President Trump, the Justice Department has repeatedly gone after those he considers his political enemies — from the Attorney General of New York, to the former head of the FBI, to members of the Federal Reserve.
In those cases, the prosecutions either stalled or were dismissed for having no basis in law, and the same is likely to happen in this case. But not before Congresswoman Omar’s life has been turned upside down, her legal bills have piled up, and she’s been forced to spend time fighting unsubstantiated charges instead of serving the people of Minnesota.
The fact that any president, or any administration, is willing to engage in such transparent efforts to intimidate someone should outrage all Americans, regardless of how they feel about Congresswoman Omar’s political views. Because if this becomes the new normal, there’s no reason to believe it will stop with her — or that future presidents, in either party, won’t do the same.

Tonight, France burned. America, you should be watching very carefully.
Today, October 17, 2026, more than half a million people marched across France against the cost of living. By 8pm, around 400 had been arrested. In Paris, police turned water cannons on the crowds at Place de la République, and one march was stopped 150 meters from the Élysée Palace. Of the 195 people arrested in the capital by the afternoon, only one actually lived in Paris. Mobs forced their way into the city halls of Marseille and Lille. In Lyon, a tourism office was set on fire. In Rennes, barricades burned. Near Limoges, a highway was blocked and police cars were torched.
And then came Limoges.
A crowd of very young people stormed the city hall, a protected historic monument built in the 1880s. They flipped police cars in front of it and set them ablaze, then set the building itself on fire. The flames took the roof, the wedding hall, and the civil registry, the office that records every birth, every marriage, every death in the city. Tonight, the bell tower that has crowned Limoges for nearly 150 years collapsed.
The mayor's response: "It's a monument that is burning, not the Republic."
That is the problem in one sentence. Our leaders still think words can put out fires.
None of this came out of nowhere. For twenty years, the French political class has excused everything. Every riot was "anger." Every burned car was a "social symptom." Every attack on police was "a reaction to provocation." And the hard left, La France Insoumise, which officially backed today's mobilization, built its electoral machine on an alliance with political Islamism: refusing to condemn, refusing to name, trading secularism and public order for votes. In France we have a word for it. Islamo-gauchisme. Islamo-leftism.
Tonight you saw where that culture of excuse ends. A country where a mob can burn down a town hall, and the state arrives after the roof has already fallen in.
My dear American friends,
I say this with love, as someone who has lived among you and owes you a great deal: your midterms are on November 3rd. And the same alliance is growing inside your Democratic Party. The same far-left wing that treats disorder as protest and police as the enemy. The same activists who refuse to draw a line between legitimate dissent and those who openly despise the West. The same politicians who think tolerance means tolerating everything, including the people who want to burn it down.
It always starts with excuses. Then comes impunity. Then come the flames.
Same causes, same effects. If you create the conditions we created, you will get exactly what we got tonight.
France was the country of the Enlightenment, of cathedrals and town halls that stood for centuries. Tonight, one of them collapsed live on social media while the government called for calm.
My dear American friends, the only advantage you have over us is that you've been warned.
Vote like your city hall depends on it. Because one day, it will.

This is why a coach shouldn’t brag about how good his team is, as Narduzzi did, and shouldn’t complain about his team not being ranked, as Narduzzi did.
The polls and the quality of the team will be dictated by the results. Not by a big-mouth coach.

"That's not democracy. That's a purchase order." Cute line, Elizabeth. Let's read the Democratic purchase orders out loud.
Start with yours. 2020, your presidential campaign is collapsing after Iowa and New Hampshire. A super PAC called Persist PAC shows up to rescue you. 96% of its money came from one Silicon Valley megadonor. One check. $14.6 million. Donors hidden until after Super Tuesday. You'd spent the whole primary telling everyone super PACs were corruption. Then you took the purchase order.
Now the rest of the catalog.
George and Alex Soros: $103.7 million this cycle alone, $102 million of it dumped into a single Democratic super PAC.
Majority Forward, the dark money nonprofit tied to your own Senate leader Chuck Schumer: $102 million. Donors? Secret.
House Majority Forward: $61.7 million. Donors? Also secret.
Michael Bloomberg: around $1 billion on his own 2020 primary, $100 million for Biden in Florida, and still writing eight-figure checks in 2026.
Reid Hoffman: $11.5 million into one super PAC for one Texas Senate race.
Bill Gates: reportedly around $50 million to a pro-Harris group in 2024.
Pritzker, Moskovitz, Steyer, Hastings: millions upon millions, cycle after cycle.
Kamala Harris: over $1 billion raised in under three months. Lost anyway.
Musk's money is disclosed, public, and on the front page of the New York Times article you just linked. Which, by the way, says $276 million, not "nearly $300 million." Schumer's money sits in an anonymous nonprofit nobody can see inside.
So which one is the purchase order, Elizabeth?
For twenty years, billionaire money was "saving democracy." Now it's "buying Congress." The only thing that changed is whose name is on the check.
This 👇
Democrats discovered billionaires in politics were a threat to democracy the exact day one stopped writing them checks.
When Michael Bloomberg spent around $1 billion of his own money in the 2020 primary, then another $100M to help Biden in Florida, nobody called it an attack on democracy.
When George Soros put $125M into a single Democratic super PAC and became the largest political donor of the 2022 cycle, it was "civic engagement."
When Reid Hoffman, Dustin Moskovitz, JB Pritzker and Tom Steyer wrote eight- and nine-figure checks cycle after cycle, it was "saving democracy." When Bill Gates reportedly gave around $50M to a pro-Harris group in 2024, silence.
In 2020, dark money groups spent over $500M backing Democrats, more than double what went to Republicans. In 2024, Kamala Harris raised more than $1 billion in under three months. Democrats outspent Republicans and lost.
So the problem was never billionaires in politics. The problem is a billionaire who doesn't fund your side.
And here's what nobody in DC wants to say out loud: old billionaire money is quiet money. It funds the foundations, NGOs, think tanks and consultants that make up the permanent establishment. It doesn't challenge the system. It is the system. It freezes the picture: same insiders, same incumbents, same experts, every single cycle.
You can like or hate Musk's spending, but at least it's out in the open. If you really want money out of politics, start with your own party's donor list.

Hi Amy,
Let me MANsplain this to you.
Telsa is a private American company.
They build electric cars. And in this case, flying cars.
Tesla does not have any impact on your cost of living. If anything, owning a Tesla may reduce it some because of lower lifetime maintenance costs compared to ICEs and not having to fill the vehicle up with gas every 1–2 weeks.
Many people can also afford to eat and heat their homes because Tesla employs over 130,000 people.
Apply for a job. Many of them there are probably good-paying.
Your outrage is misplaced.
I agree things are expensive, though. You should be mad at the federal government for running massive deficits every year and “printing” money to monetize it, which continues to lower the purchasing power of the U.S. dollar.
But we cannot curb inflation by running massive deficits. And we cannot fix the deficit by spending more taxpayer dollars on socialized welfare and wealth transfer programs, or any other so-called “free” stuff that you desperately want.
You should learn some Economics 101 before opining.
And you shouldn’t vote in our elections until you do so either.
Our energy costs have risen 48% in your 3 years in charge. Why should we believe anything you say?🤡
BREAKING: I’m taking historic action to protect PPL customers from higher energy costs and hold data center developers accountable for their energy use.
Pennsylvanians shouldn't have to pay higher electric bills because data center developers plug into the grid. That’s why I filed to intervene in a utility rate case that would force PPL to stop passing data center energy costs on to consumers.
It’s time for data center developers to pay their fair share. And I’ll continue fighting to make sure utility companies are focused on keeping costs down while maintaining safe and reliable service.
The worst kept secret of 2026. All one has to do is follow his social media. All he does is talk about the President. Like another failing Governor from the West Coast 🙄

The minimum wage is a wage floor, not a guarantee that every entry-level job can support an entire household. The fact that an elected official can’t understand that is ridiculous.
