The deadbeat conversation bores me because we never speak on the mother's role. If I lent 100k to a guy who was known to be irresponsible and he never paid me back, I'd be called an idiot. However, if she was to have a baby with that same guy and he deadbeated, she's somehow not an idiot.

The eternally validated Camille Paglia Women cannot have it both ways, they can’t insist on coddling and being infantilized and not being held responsible for reckless choices, and then also demand equal rights and total sexual liberation/freedom
I agree, age of majority should be 25 for all women effective immediately The idea that putting a 19 year old woman in a society full of men pressuring her to get tattoos, drink, do drugs, have sex, and think she can freely consent is just silly Let’s sign it into law

As an African can someone please show me that downsides to Bitcoin? No African government can, or is capable of lifting the majority of its pop, out of poverty. African currencies steal purchasing power every year via inflation. It can't be worse than holding African fiat? #BTC

Thus saith Jacinta: Behold, the sons of Jollof sharpen their spears; they come NOT to bless, but to steal and to scatter the children like chaff. Raise ur shield, O man, and take up the sword for the inheritance of thy fathers is a trust from the Lord. Book of Jacinta 7 v5

“I’ve never seen an event organized by black communities being sponsored by companies like KFC or Pedros Chicken, yet a large share of their profits comes from black consumers. Still, their sponsorships seem to favour white-led events,” - Jason Zikalala

I'm not interested in South Africa just because it's heartbreaking to watch a nation with so much raw potential get hollowed out, though it is. I'm interested in South Africa because it's a warning of what happens when you replace merit with race, when grievance becomes policy, when forgiveness is skipped and revenge is dressed up as justice, and when you stop seeing individuals and start seeing groups. That's not a South African problem. That's a human one. And the West is not as far from it as it thinks.

The Bank of Japan owns 7% of the entire Japanese stock market. The Swiss National Bank holds $200 billion in US equities - Apple, Microsoft, Amazon. Central banks buying stocks directly destroys price discovery. When you purchase Toyota shares, you compete against a institution that creates yen from nothing. The SNB prints francs to buy dollars to buy Facebook stock (they're literally a hedge fund with a printing press). Stock prices no longer reflect company fundamentals or investor sentiment - they reflect central bank balance sheet expansion. This is wealth redistribution to asset holders. Currency debasement funds it. Every Swiss franc created to buy Nvidia stock dilutes the purchasing power of workers holding cash savings.

Extremely important that doesn’t happen. Please repost so we get the word out.
🚨 The South African government is attempting to OUTLAW FINANCIAL FREEDOM. 🚫 Under the guise of "capital flow management," new draft regulations will effectively destroy self-custody and Bitcoin's promise of financial inclusion in our country. 🇿🇦 These aren't just rules for exchanges. They are a direct attack on EVERY South African. Here’s what they do: ‼️ BAN SELF-CUSTODY: By targeting transactions that touch global network infrastructure, they make self-custody illegal. ‼️ FORCE LIQUIDATION: They grant the state the power to force the sale of Bitcoin to the National Treasury. This is expropriation. ‼️ OUTLAW CIRCULAR ECONOMIES: Peer-to-peer transactions for goods and services will be deemed "black market" activity if they exceed an unspecified threshold. ‼️ GIVE THE STATE ARBITRARY POWER: The Minister can decide the "threshold" for illegality at any time, creating uncertainty for everyone. ✊ This is a war on open, permissionless money. It's a war on the unbanked. It's a war on your right to control your own wealth. 📜 And they're trying to do it WITHOUT A VOTE IN PARLIAMENT. ⏳ The deadline for public objection is either May 18 or June 10, depending on which government source is consulted. We have no time to waste. 👀SEE DRAFT HERE: treasury.gov.za/public%20com… 👇 SUBMIT YOUR OBJECTION HERE: ag.bitcoinzar.co.za/ 🔖 READ THE CRITICAL ANALYSIS: capecrypto.com/south-africa-… 📢 SHARE THIS POST. The world needs to see what is happening.

Printing money enables the fraud. You can paper over it. Every issue we face is downstream of the money printer.

South Asian countries have leapfrogged many African nations and continue to rise. Leadership in Africa is so terrible, one is forced to confront the IQ argument.

Libertarianism is the crazy idea that human beings might be capable of constructing roads without giving more than half of everyone's time and effort to warmongering cannibal pedophiles.

the growth of gold eventually makes a strong case for BTC (decentralization). The growth of BTC makes a strong for privacy (Zcash/which ever L1 wins)

When America sneezes, Africa catches Ebola 🤣. The CLARITY Act might accidentally give millions of Africans access to digital dollars with just a phone. Governments will respond with controls. Controls will weaken currencies. Weak currencies will push people further into stable coins/crypto. This isn’t rebellion. It’s math.

Real dangers are never loud. They are slow. Delay. Inflation. Drift, By the time you feel the heat, escape costs everything. Sometimes catastrophic failures can be a blessing.

So, what do hardcore Bitcoiners actually think about Zcash? 🤔 To quote @saifedean - "Zcash is a shitcoin." Honestly, I expected that answer. But what he said about privacy and money was even more interesting 👇 "This is the question. How much demand is there for money that does not get debased versus how much demand is there for money that allows you to maintain your privacy?" I think this provides a good avenue for Bitcoin supporters who are interested in Zcash to share their views and counterarguments to Saif's views. Would love to hear from @zooko @mert @EliBenSasson @jswihart and others. You can find the full interview for @Cointelegraph in the comments.

Love this: The Charlie Kirk assassination is inspiring Americans who have been afraid to speak “My name is John. I have practically no online presence, and the reason for that is because I am scared to post things that I believe or really care about because I worry about what people will think of me. I am worried about missing out on opportunities because of an online footprint. Yesterday, a man died. Presumably because he believed the same things that I believe in. I am a conservative and more importantly, I'm a Christian. I believe wholeheartedly that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, that he died from our sins and rose again, and that he is God. I know that in the grand scheme of things, I don't really matter. No one knows or even cares who I am. But If there's even one person who sees this and gains the courage to speak up themselves, that's why I'm making this. Just so that everybody knows that we're not alone.” This post got over 48k likes in 7 hours
