As I have gotten older, experiencing the world has made me realize we don't have much time to spend here. Our lives are nothing but a blink in history like many others who came before us. Life is fragile, it can be destroyed at a moment's notice. That should not be taken lightly and I choose not to. Sacrificing eternity for short-term pleasure is not a gamble worth taking. Lord, may you give me the strength to not lean on my own understanding but trust in You. I fail at being good, I fail at being righteous and I fail at serving you. Forgive me for my sins, lead me in your direction and bless me with another day of life which I am so thankful for. Yet thy will be done. In Jesus' name, Amen.
