I never post anything about AI, but this story is too fun to skip. Recently I noticed someone playing a board game called "Verflucht!". That's German for "cursed". But it's also a Dutch (combined) word for "paint smell". So some people asked #OpenAI about this: 1/3 🧵

2/3 Someone on BGG asked ChatGPT about the etymology of the word "verflucht" and ChatGPT explained it's not a Dutch word, but only German. Until its response got questioned, and then it apologised: chat.openai.com/share/3636c8… So one of my colleagues checked with other AIs:

3/3 One of the AIs kept confident that it was not Dutch, but German. Finally, my colleague corrected them (in Dutch) and suddenly the AI apologised, explained themselves and gave the excuse they were still learning. 🤣

Wow. The #ModernWarfare2 campaign is really awesome. Some missions might be a bit meh, but others are really truly amazing! Hadn't finished MW2019s campaign - but if it's this good, I need to revisit that for sure. Haven't finished the campaign yet, so hope it'll stays solid...

Key take-away from the thread is this (I've been telling my friends this for years, but couldn't explain clearly) Grey sites are sites like Kinguin, G2A etc When the price is too good to be true, it's stolen 🤷

NEVER buy keys on grey sites, folks 🫠 Indie devs get NO MONEY AT ALL from them. They are stolen keys. You're only giving your money to leeches! (16/16)
Interesting (but kinda depressing) thread about how "curators" are abusing indie devs to get free keys and resell them on grey markets

Bought Cult of the Lamb yesterday, played it for aprox 1 hour and it didn't grab me (yet?) Got RETURNAL (PS5) today and that game just blew me away. Maybe it's because I dislike management, I just want the action (which is also a bit meh in CotL tbh).
