Always have & maintain multiple streams of income. Salary alone can never guarantee you a descent standard of living with your family.
Even the rich have multiple companies. They will invest in a grand hotel but still put some money in transport business which is for you and I, in the middle income.
Even if you earn 10m per month as salary, go into agriculture eg plant coffee or rear goats if you have land, have a SME, say manufacturing in tissue, have a grocery, stall or a fancy hair saloon somewhere, buy to cycleβs for Boda transport, supply maize floor or stationary somewhere.
Do some investments too for example, in unit trusts or buy bonds or bills, grow trees, if you travel, buy phones & sell to colleagues etc.
Young people here on X. Leverage on SM. Do online trade, influence, or monetize your accounts.
Never keep your eggs in one basket. God bless you.

I rode my SUZUKI 120CC to school and throuhout UNI at Makerere for many years. When it came to racing big brother Arthur lent me his bike. He would turn his number 99 around and I would ride as 66. One day at Nakivubo I beat all the men in my group. The crowd gave me many coins

The law is clear, the directives of a traffic officer take precedence over traffic lights. At one point, people complained about officers being deployed at such points & they were subsequently withdrawn. The resulting traffic congestion became overwhelming and caused significant inconvenience to road users. We should not thus wish to return to that situation. Traffic officers play a vital role in managing traffic flow, especially during peak hours & emergencies.

The journey I embarked on eighteen months ago has produced its very first ready cherries. Today has been the harvesting day. It is still little but I am so excited and hoping for the best in the near future. πβοΈ

Many young people today feel pressured to become rich instantly because of what they see around them. But remember the Luganda saying: βEkikula amangu, kifa manguβ β what grows too fast often fades just as quickly.
At a youthful age, one can certainly earn enough to live well; buy a car, build a house, or run a small business. But wealth is something different. Wealth begins when your money starts multiplying itself; when businesses and investments continue to generate income even when you are not actively working, and your role becomes simply to monitor and guide.
My advice to the youth is simple: do not rush the process. When you begin working, focus on building steadily. Learn continuously. Save consistently. Invest wisely.
The enjoyments of life; beaches, vacations, and luxuries, will still be there later. Money is sweet at any age, but it is even sweeter when it is stable, sustainable, and well earned.
Wealth is not a sprint of youth; it is a marathon of patience. Money can come early, but true wealth is patiently built, carefully protected, and enjoyed for a lifetime.
