In all my years building iOS apps, I’ve never had a first review come back this fast. Submitted Tripscape last night. Woke up and it was live, with no rejections and no back-and-forth. What Tripscape does: 📍 Every place you visit gives you a stamp 🏙️ Collect every stamp in a city to unlock it 🛂 Your passport tracks countries, cities, rare finds and km travelled 📤 Share your passport to your story What changed for me: years of shipping apps taught me what Apple looks for. With AI in my workflow, I can build, polish and prep a submission much faster than I used to. AI doesn’t replace the experience. It speeds it up. apps.apple.com/us/app/tripsc… #BuildInPublic #iOSDev #maldives

Building the app is one challenge. Getting people to trust a different way of working is another. That’s something I’m learning while building OdiGo ( odigo.mv/get ). An app bringing together island transfers, fishing trips, and private boat hires in the Maldives. One of the hardest parts has been getting operators on board. The benefits can seem obvious from the development side: another way for customers to find an operator, easier access to trip information, and less back-and-forth when arranging a booking. But explaining a feature isn’t the same as showing someone why it matters to their business. Many operators have built their livelihoods through phone calls, messages, agents, and personal relationships. Those methods are familiar. Moving part of that business into an app asks them to put confidence in something they haven’t yet seen work for them. I’m learning that hesitation doesn’t necessarily mean a lack of interest. It can mean we haven’t answered their questions clearly enough or made the value tangible enough. Will this bring me customers? Will it create more work? How much control will I have? Who will help when something goes wrong? Those are fair questions. For OdiGo to succeed, operators need to see a practical benefit for themselves: reaching customers, spending less time coordinating bookings, and having tools that fit the way they work. Their participation has to be worthwhile for them. The platform grows when the people using it gain something useful. That means our job goes beyond building technology. We need to listen, demonstrate, support, and earn trust over time. I still believe there’s a real opportunity to make travel across our islands easier and to help local operators benefit from that change. If you’ve helped a business adopt digital tools, what made the biggest difference in building confidence? odigo.mv/get #OdiGo #Maldives #DigitalAdoption #TravelTech #BuildInPublic

On e-wallets and Favara 🧵 It does have the potential to do a lot of things banks can’t/won’t do. You’re right though. Today, there isn’t much differentiation because the functionality is still limited.
I am not sure why people use these payment services. Like.... There is no reason to. What can it do that my debit card cannot? Apart from that I have to go the extra mile to reload the account balance.

ARGENTINA STUN ENGLAND WITH LATE COMEBACK TO REACH THE FIFA WORLD CUP™ 2026 FINAL Argentina came from behind to defeat England 2-1 and reach the FIFA World Cup™ 2026 Final, with Lionel Messi providing two decisive assists. Argentina are through to the FIFA World Cup™ 2026 Final after producing a breathtaking late comeback to defeat England 2-1 in Atlanta, keeping their dream of back-to-back world titles alive. In a match worthy of one of football's greatest rivalries, England looked destined to end 24 years of FIFA World Cup™ heartbreak against Argentina after Anthony Gordon fired the Three Lions into the lead. But when the pressure was at its highest, Lionel Messi once again delivered, providing two decisive assists as Enzo Fernández and Lautaro Martínez completed a dramatic turnaround in the closing minutes. ENGLAND STRIKE FIRST After a tense and physical first half, England broke the deadlock in the 55th minute. Anthony Gordon arrived at the far post to convert Morgan Rogers' cross, sending the England supporters into celebration and putting Thomas Tuchel's side within touching distance of a place in the Final. England then adopted a more defensive approach, looking to protect their slender advantage against the defending champions. MESSI SPARKS ANOTHER ARGENTINE REVIVAL With time running out, Argentina turned to their captain. In the 85th minute, Lionel Messi's delivery from a corner found Enzo Fernández, who rifled home the equaliser from the edge of the area to breathe life back into Argentina's campaign. As stoppage time began, Messi produced another moment of brilliance. His pinpoint cross found substitute Lautaro Martínez, who powered home the winning header to complete an astonishing comeback and send Argentina into the Final. It was another match-defining performance from Messi, whose vision and leadership proved decisive once again. ENGLAND'S DREAM ENDS IN HEARTBREAK For England, the defeat will be a painful one to accept. After defending resolutely for much of the second half, the Three Lions were unable to withstand Argentina's relentless late pressure. Jordan Pickford produced several important saves throughout the evening, but even he could not prevent the defending champions from finding two late goals. Despite the heartbreak, England can reflect on an impressive tournament that saw them overcome Mexico and Norway before falling agonisingly short of the Final. ARGENTINA ONE STEP FROM HISTORY The victory sends Argentina into a second consecutive FIFA World Cup™ Final, where they will face Spain with the opportunity to successfully defend their crown. Once again, Lionel Messi was at the heart of everything. Two assists on the biggest stage ensured another unforgettable night for La Albiceleste, as the captain moved one step closer to ending his remarkable FIFA World Cup™ career with consecutive world titles. History has witnessed many unforgettable chapters between England and Argentina. In Atlanta, another was written and this one belonged to Messi and the reigning world champions. #weare26 #weare26mv weare26.mv

ALL FOUR MVPS FROM THE 2026 WORLD CUP QUARTER-FINALS ARE LALIGA EA SPORTS PLAYERS Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham and Julián Álvarez led their national teams to the semi-finals of the competition. The LALIGA EA SPORTS stars have taken the 2026 World Cup by storm, stepping up for their national teams when it mattered most and earning all four MVP accolades in the quarter-finals of the competition. Kylian Mbappé, Lamine Yamal, Jude Bellingham and Julián Álvarez were the central characters in the last-eight duels, stealing the limelight as France, Spain, England and Argentina clinched a spot in this week’s semi-finals. Mbappé too much for Morocco to handle The Real Madrid forward is currently topping the World Cup scoring charts alongside former FC Barcelona captain Lionel Messi with eight goals each. He has netted in five of France’s six games, including three braces against Senegal, Iraq, and Sweden. In the only game he didn’t manage to find the back of the net, Mbappé recorded two assists to inspire a 4-1 win over Norway. The 27-year-old didn't have the ideal start to the game against Morocco on Thursday, as former Sevilla FC goalkeeper Yassine Bono denied him from the spot just before the half-an-hour mark. Yet, Mbappé bounced back after the break, opening the scoring with a brilliant strike from the edge of the box before setting up former FC Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembélé for France’s second to secure the MVP award. Lamine Yamal growing into the tournament An injury may have forced the La Masia graduate to miss the last six games of the 2025/26 LALIGA EA SPORTS campaign, but Lamine Yamal managed to recover in time for the tournament in North America. After featuring off the bench in the opener against Cape Verde, he netted his first-ever World Cup goal in a 4-0 thrashing of Saudi Arabia. About to turn 19 years of age, Lamine Yamal boasts the quality that has forced opposition defences to adjust to his game in their bid to limit his impact. They may have managed to hold him to just one goal in six appearances, but the FC Barcelona winger stood out with his displays in each of Spain’s three knockout games – including a man-of-the-match outing against Belgium as La Roja qualified for the semi-finals with a 2-1 win. Bellingham rises to the occasion Having emerged as one of the surprises of the competition, Norway beat five-time champions Brazil in the Round of 16 to set up a clash against England in the quarter-finals. The Norwegian side hit the ground running, with Andreas Schjelderup breaking the deadlock 36 minutes in to put his team ahead. But, only a few days after netting twice in a 3-2 win over Mexico, Bellingham came to the fore again, singlehandedly turning the game around for The Three Lions. The Real Madrid star scored a timely equaliser in the first half’s stoppage time before netting a second early in extra time, stretching his scoring tally to six goals – more than any other midfielder in the competition. Álvarez rescues Argentina with spectacular curler Messi teed up Alexis Mac Allister, who headed home early for Argentina’s opener against Switzerland early in the first half, but the Swiss side levelled the scores through Dan Ndoye midway after the break. La Albiceleste didn’t manage to make the most of their numerical advantage after Breel Embolo’s sending off midway through the second half, with the game going to extra time. The two teams were eight minutes away from what would have been a nail-baiting penalty shootout, when Álvarez received the ball outside the box and unleashed a long-range curler to beat Gregor Kobel and put Argentina back ahead. This might have been the Atlético de Madrid forward’s first goal in the 2026 World Cup, but it was one for the history books as it set up a historic meeting with Bellingham’s England in the semi-finals of the competition. #weare26 #weare26mv weare26.mv
