We write tests first so that we write tests period. We write tests first so that our code will be testable. We write tests first so that we know what code we should write. We write tests first because we always do the most important things first. – at Québec, Canada

Main is always dirty from a dependency point of view. It is the most concrete of all modules. Therefore nothing should depend on it. – at White Plains, NY

Think of your backlog as a refrigerator. Every so often its worth throwing out those disgusting leftovers that have been growing furry mold in the back of the top shelf. All they do is stink up the place. Don't let anything rot in there—nothing but fresh!

Makefiles. Seriously. Everyone overlooks Make. It’s perfect for a lot of things like this.
Say you had some ~20 odd random Node processing tasks you wanted to make easy for anyone to run. Webpack is great and all, but webpack would probably be one of these tasks, not the master of all of them. Is Gulp still the ticket here? Or is there some successor?
