My message to Europe:
We have the talent, we have the money, but our energy is stuck under bureaucracy 📑🥵
Why not giving public servant a Google style 20% time off to contribute to the (digital) commons?
20% of time less to slow down the economy 📈
20% of time to contribute to the commons 🔅
An offer unions can’t refuse.
An opportunity to unleash so much energy 🚀

I’m seeing teams at Vercel iterate just as fast on Zig, Go, Rust projects as TypeScript & Python ones.
The days of language or runtime choice based on human convenience are over. Agents are the new compilers.
They compile intent into fast software.

Met Boyan Slat today. The Ocean Cleanup is already catching about 5% of the total amount of plastic flowing into the sea from all the rivers in the world, and within a few years they hope to catch a third. Impressive that a single organization could have such impact.

The future of remittance is no remittance.
I don’t really believe in the stablecoin sandwich for remittance (fiat to stablecoin to fiat again).
Most of the time, remittance means transferring a strong currency into a weaker one.
But stablecoins offer something new and valuable: the ability for people in emerging countries to hold a strong currency. And with players like us enabling merchants to accept crypto, they can now be spent directly.
So I believe the future for people in emerging countries isn’t to hold their local currencies. It’s to hold stablecoins, earn on them, and spend them.

2 weeks before migrants from Morocco invaded Ceuta, the GOP passed a bill with $40 million for Morocco and a committee report advising:
Spanish-administered cities of Ceuta and Melilla are located in Moroccan territory and remain the subject of Morocco's longstanding claim.

What does work look like when you have more agent employees than teammates?
Buzz is the closest answer I've seen.
An open source app built on an open protocol, out of Block. I have no affiliation with any of it.
It's close. It's not there yet, but it's close.
Which is exactly why it's worth an afternoon:
You love it and forget about Slack.
You hate it and finally configure Slack the way you should have from the start.
Either way you watched agent-native software get built in the open, by the people using it.
There is no losing in this situation.
The people who live in the future are the ones who can look around the corner.
Go get your hands dirty.

There’s been a lot of speculation about where we stand on open-weights models. We’ve outlined our views in full here: anthropic.com/news/position-…

When we look back, Alex Karp may have initiated an important preference cascade around AI sovereignty.
It’s worth noting what @Benioff and @satyanadella are both saying:
Your knowledge, as a company, is your sovereignty. If you lose it to someone else (anyone else) you are hollowing your organization out.
There are many ways to accidentally leak intelligence so you need partners and tools who can sign up for the complexity required to give it to you.
See Benioff below and see Satya’s essay linked below.
Got ZDR? 🚀 The currency of AI is trust. Since launching Agentforce Trust Layer with Zero Data Retention (ZDR) on June 12, 2023, we’ve drawn a hard line with our model suppliers: Your data is YOUR data — it is NOT our product or their product. 🛡️ We have never used customer data to train AI models. Chamath Palihapitiya @chamath "Bro, there is no failure."
"That is what other people think of you to keep you down. There's no failure. If you were left on an island and it happened, you would just brush it off and move on. It's everybody else that you think is judging you. But then, here's the secret. They don't give a fuck about you. They are living their own lives. So it's your perception of what they think of you."
"There is no failure. There's do and learn. Do and learn. Do and learn. Do and learn."

"I can remember one child for example who was 7, Amir... He heard a drone above him, turned round, and then it fired on him. And we had many many reports like that from children and adults."

OpenAI hired me, not OpenClaw.
The OpenClaw Foundation is independent, with sponsors rather than owners - and, for the first time, a full-time team keeping the claw alive and stable. 🦞
Couldn’t have done it without Dave and the team. Kudos!
Today we’re introducing the OpenClaw Foundation: a nonprofit home for open, independent personal AI.
A full-time team. Great partners. One mission: bring personal AI to everyone.
Welcome to the age of the lobster.🦞

Wondering how the eager tech enablers of this regime, including some of my former VC friends and partners, are rationalizing this atrocity. Just the latest in a year of horrors.
Is all the crypto and AI money in the world really worth this?
