(THREAD) 1/ After 12 years (the last 9 in Yunnan, of essentially year-round, almost daily field observations), my China adventure has abruptly, but inevitably, come to a close. By the end of October, I will be languishing back in Sydney doing my mandatory 2-week hotel quarantine.
