This month is chaotic.
• Resigned from my job
• Started creating content on X (late, but better late than never
• Moving from SDE → DevOps/SRE officially
• Leaving Bangalore after 2 years
Funny how life works.
Sometimes many things have to go wrong before the right thing starts taking shape.
People know me as an SDE.
But behind the scenes, for ~1.5 years, I’ve been doing deployments, fixing VA points, handling infra-related work, and slowly moving closer to DevOps without realizing it.
Looking for opportunities in DevOps / SRE.
If you're in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or Backend — let’s connect.
New journey starts today.
one of the most frustrating things about subscriptions today is paying monthly and still having to rent movies separately.
if my subscription doesn’t cover the movies I want to watch, what exactly am I subscribing to?
at this point, I’m not paying for entertainment. I’m paying for access to the privilege of paying again.
rent after paying for subscription does not make sense

best time to be a senior anything actually
As i was scrolling on tweeter, i see many people saying VC (github) is dead now companies making there own VC systems like cursor now anthropic announces there in house VC
personal take: git is not dead even far from dead, it just not designed to handle 30k PRs everyday but for the most companies and for most use cases it is still the go-to VC, like 90% to 95% of people are still using it and will use it until its because some kind bottleneck to them.
The Problem:
Anthropic’s code output exploded in May 2026 it merged about 2,500 changes a day; by September it was over 30,000 a day, mostly written by Claude. Git, built for humans working offline with full copies of a repo, couldn’t keep up. the main branch history alone is almost 100 GB, and CI does around 25 million checkouts daily, which would be over 600 PB of traffic if fetched the plain way. they first tried the usual fixes, like shallow clones and hundreds of mirror servers, but every jump in the merge volume made those harder to run.
so they built Scion, their own version control system, around one idea: agents are always online, so the server can do the heavy work and clients just ask for what they need. The result is a 200x smaller infrastructure footprint, checkouts that take seconds instead of minutes, and a 25% CPU saving in CI. Seven engineers built it and migrated everything in five months.
night read; How Anthropic scaled from 2.5k to 30k merges/day by rebuilding in-house VSC for AI agents
will share thoughts tomorrow
i did not get this Prorated refund thing, is it "when i buy the new subscription then this amount will get refunded"
is that it or am i missing something??

its been a month using IOS 27.0 and i am hearing a lot of bad things around this update, so here is my take
> first things first i own iphone 12 (i know it ancient but listen to me with this one)
>Apple updated a bunch of features, including Siri, which can now handle some AI tasks. Unfortunately, I didn’t get those AI features because my phone (sorry, iPhone) has hardware limitations.
> with 27.0 AppleApple updated a bunch of features, including Siri, which can now handle some AI tasks. Unfortunately,i did not get any of the AI updates as my phone sorry my iphone has some hardware limitation.
>then there are the UI changes, like the Weather app redesign. animations feel smoother, and everything moves like butter.
the two main concern was battery drain and heating issue. if you live in india then heating issue in summer is very normal and i do not talk about battery as i own 12 so shut Uph
verdict: noice
this is me seeing my analytics page for the first time, why?? because today i hit like 50 followers.
turns out if your follower is less than 50 then you are not able to see your analytics.
but i am wondering why this is kinda blank ??

been working on this weekend project; named tinylb which is me trying to build load balancer from first principle. just laid the foundation bcz i am writing go code for the first time in my life
verdict: Rejected
"i do not have k8s experience because in my previous startup we do not use k8s because there we are small startup not needing the k8s, what we were using is docker for containerisation and docker-compose for managing our multi container setup because we were small firm"
i said this in a recent interview for devops L2 and got rejected
