Hey Mike- remember when we both represented MSU in the 2000s? Did you spend any time on campus during that time because you should know that MSU has its own power plant and grid on campus. #floridaonhismind
Amazing note.
I'm sorry we never got a chance to meet, but getting this note from Dolly really had a an impact on me. She definitely didn't have to take the time to do it. Even for a kid who mostly listened to rap music, she was an icon. A superstar in every sense. Rest easy Dolly. And thank you for the kind words.
Actually the big winner is consumers, Michigan residents. The only time business loses is when they get caught lying or taking advantage of their customers. #mileg #SB134
Chedrick Greene not only took out Jason Tunney but inadvertently also Mayor Mike Duggan. #mileg
“On May 5, the Democratic State Senate candidate in Saginaw won 60% of the vote in a seat Republicans thought would be very competitive”- from Mike Duggan’s statement.
PRE-MACKINAC SHOCKER: @mikeeduggan ends independent campaign for Michigan governor

It’s the reverse Perry Johnson Effect for Mike Duggan. He is spending money and losing ground in the polls while Perry has gained. It now makes sense why they are trying to manufacture issues on the campaign trail. #mileg
New poll finds big shift in Michigan governor's race detroitnews.com/story/news/p…
Jocelyn Benson and Mallory McMorrow each turned in 30,000 signatures in their respective races each months earlier than Duggan will. No big deal. Just do the work. Disappointing the Duggan campaign is creating a manufactured issue. #mileg
Update on this from Duggan spox @AndreaBitely: “Partisans are certain to try to tie us up in litigation claiming the 30,000 statutory requirement should be reinstated. Mayor Duggan made clear we’re going to meet the higher requirement and make that challenge a moot point.”

Why does he continue to mislead voters? He knows he only has to file 12,000 signatures which is 3,000 less than his opponents. In addition, he has an extra 86 days to get them while all of the other candidates running for Governor turned them in last month. Facts matter. #mileg
Duggan needs 12,000 signatures to make the ballot, not 30,000 as he implies here — the federal court’s 2019 ruling remains in effect.
It’s in the state’s own ballot access manual: michigan.gov/sos/-/media/Pro…
Glad to see that the MEA has endorsed Bridget Brink. She is best positioned to beat Tom Barrett in November and to keep the seat it in future elections.
This is why we need Ambassador Bridget Brink’s experience and skill set in the U.S. Congress.
I am excited to support Bridget Brink to be the Democratic nominee for Michigan’s 7th Congressional District. Her experience and her vision for the future makes her the best candidate to beat Tom Barrett in November and keep the seat in future elections. #mileg
State Senator Sam Singh (@singhsam94) represents the very best of mid-Michigan. From East Lansing City Hall to the State Capitol, Sen. Singh has dedicated his life to serving our community. I am honored and humbled to receive his endorsement to flip Michigan's 7th District.
Another reason to hate the Bears. #golions

Last month House Republicans slashed over half a billion dollars in already approved state funding for crucial programs and projects across the state. With yesterday's finding by the Attorney General, this funding will be restored and can go back to helping the Michigan communities that depend on it.
Any Vance Joy fans on my feed? My buddy and I are going on Tuesday evening at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. We have an extra ticket. DM me if you are interested.
Quite a touching moment. Prayers for Morice Norris. Tears in my eyes. #OnePride
