Ce qui me concerne, c'est l'image renvoyée quand tout un contenu se réduit à la séduction, sans rien construire derrière, et ce que cette image finit par autoriser chez certaines. Prendre soin de soi, aimer sa féminité, ce n'est pas le sujet. Très loin de là. Les femmes n'ont pas à se grimer en homme pour être respectables et respectées. Le sujet, c'est une industrie, largement entretenue par les hommes, qui tourne exclusivement autour de la désirabilité des femmes et continue de nourrir les clichés que des sociétés sexistes nous opposent. Pendant que des femmes meurent en Iran pour leurs droits et que des Afghanes n'ont plus accès à l'école, on continue de célébrer celles qui, consciemment ou non, perpétuent les injonctions d'une société qui demande aux femmes d'être simplement désirables et attrayantes. Pour le plus grand plaisir d’hommes n’ayant que très peu de considérations pour les femmes au delà de leur apparence. Être belle n'est pas un accomplissement. Soyez brillantes. Soyez courageuses. Travaillez. Instruisez-vous. Le reste suivra.
