I'm old enough to remember pre-Roe. I was a kid but I remember signing the cast of a teenage girl in my family that I idolized because she let me play her records and taught me how to ride a skateboard. Years later, my mother told me she broke it "accidentally" throwing herself down the stairs because she overheard the boy, who violently date-raped her, talking about "doing the right thing" in her living room with her dad. Luckily, in those days, a D&C for a miscarriage was a routine procedure. So she got off light. Yeah, we remember. And we're voting AF.
