We see a chart showing the number of messages between Alleigha and Caleb over the months. The number drops after the 15 year anniversary cruise Caleb went on with Ashley. Alleigha was upset he went on the cruise. Caleb continually told her he would leave his wife and gave deadlines, but he never died. On Jan. 3, Alleigha told Caleb he had one week to leave his wife or she was done with him. On Jan. 11, Alleigha tells Caleb he has not met the deadline and she's out.

My default is sarcasm. Honestly, it’s one of the only ways I can do this job and process the horrific details of these cases day after day. The Caleb Flynn case lends itself to a lot of these moments, but I don’t ever want the humor to make us forget Ashley Flynn and her two daughters who lost their mother.
