Greeted the great man himself, Gary Imlach, as I rode through Soho half an hour ago, @ImlachHair will be pleased to know (but I imagine unsurprised) that he did not have a hair out of place. We'll miss him (and the rest of the ITV4 Tour de France team) next July 😓

This came up as FB memory, I was at a Welcome to Yorkshire reception at UK ambassador's residence last day of 2013 TdF to mark Grand Depart. Mad to think there were tens of thousands of people other side of the wall behind me on Champs-Elysees who had no idea this was here.

Cycled in today, left home late but based on previous quickest commute of 54 minutes was hopeful I'd take it by 0710. Didn't check time until I arrived. Blimey.
