Why are people just now finding out that animators are paid shit and the industry is not a stable 9-5 career w/ job security? This is accross the board, even Disney, WB, Paramount are like this. Many jobs are contract or project specific so once work wraps up, your back on market

And I need yall to understand this, lol. I love the artists at Spindlehorse and I do not believe Spindlehorse carries itself with malicious intent. But it is still a company, it is still under capitalism. Companies with perfect working conditions are impossible under this margin.

If it was layoffs due to restructuring I hope whoever made the mistake of overstaffing in the first place also got let go. Administrators barely face consequences for THEIR mistakes and the workers bellow them are always the ones getting the boot. Spindle is, still, a company.
