When I handled a case for the hospital there, the leadership was so concerned for my safety that they picked me up from the motel, took me to breakfast, drove me to witness meetings, took me to dinner, took me back to motel and told me to stay in. Day after day. Too dangerous.

The Legislature begged for Mon Power to buy Pleasants power plant.
I had an amendment to the resolution that would have allowed for another company to operate it as a merchant plant while long term plans were made. It failed, because folks aren’t willing to look past now.

Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton does not like in his Crossville Tennessee district. He lives in Nashville. Within a couple of miles to the Capitol. But Sexton receives a check every month from the state of Tennessee. Not for his legislative salary but for mileage and his daily per diem to travel and stay in Nashville When he actually lives in Nashville. That is fraud and theft of government services.
