relationships
Replying to @bhorowitz
@bhorowitz: the two skills silicon valley has underrated are creativity and the ability to create and maintain relationships. both are about to matter more.
the second one is what we're building noticed for.

great chat about noticed with the anthropic team at claude founder house this week.
thanks for having us @AnthropicAI. with @simao_etc
running to get @noticedso by @amplemarket
morning run in sf organized by @MicaelOl from @amplemarket.
tech week is mostly panels and pitch nights. the best conversations still happen side by side, on a run.
many such cases. @noticedso being the one we chose to work on
The thing I learned this year is that when engineers say they like working on “hard problems”, they actually don't. What they like is puzzle solving, and having a repertoire of patterns that they can pattern match onto traditionally hard problems, usually involving databases or something with scale, etc. And they know that the industry used to pay you a lot for how deep and broad this repertoire was. Unfortunately, in 2026, well, you have a cheat code machine that has infinite breadth and depth for pattern matching. So the question is, do you actually like hard problems? Because there are now hard problems that are a complection of engineering, product, society, culture, politics, and they are fairly intractable, probably unsolvable! Because if you do want to work on those actually hard problems, there is so much money that people will pay you for it. But you’ll have to face that truth about yourself first.

Evals as the code factory
That’s @simao_etc secret sauce to build faster with a small and focused team
I guess itll have to be rebranded to Lisbon SI now? :(
Either way, come catch me and @noticedso tomorrow :)

When eight coding agents run in parallel and produce billions of tokens a month, no human can review the output and the agent grading the work is the same one that did it.
@simao_etc is co-founder of Noticed and a designer-turned-founder who led AI at Talent Protocol, building a scoring system Coinbase used to distribute over $600K to developers.
He'll show three open-source skills that make evals impossible to game and where human input is still non-negotiable.
one of the coolest + most valuable + hardest things we've built at noticed and another step towards the fastest, cleanest and most accurate professional network app
