A lot of life changes have really shown me something. I do appreciate stability. It does help when you are someone who has a lot of anxiety. But also makes me realize I want to build while things are calm. I am not sure what, but I do want to build.
I am back to posting on my website. Here I talk about how to stay ahead while enjoying older technologies and how I think its important to balance it.

I’ve been hopping back and forth of pen and paper note taking. And I’ve just reintroduced it into my workflow. Gotta say it’s working
Markdown notes are one of the best things I've discovered. It's so easy to use and its low on storage space. Love it, I wish I had discovered it sooner.
I don’t like the idea of being obsessed with something. But I believe you should be able to focus. Focus on what’s important and being able to focus on what you value and what you want to accomplish. On that note, if anyone can give me some tips to stay focused that be great.
People hating on jimmy Fallon for hosting the google event, but it’s new and nice. What happened to just enjoying something to enjoy it
I love technology and I work in it IT as well. But recently this thought came into my head. Just because you like something doesn’t mean it has to control you. I fear my love of technology have caused me to form an unhealthy obsession of always being online.
My recent battle with intrusive thoughts brought me to this:
- Trust in God always and forever
- Focus on the good things that God has done
- Remember God is for us not against us
- Remember Gods blessing and be confident in what God has done for us already
Using AI has definitely improved my workflow. However, there are times where it slows me down and takes something 10 minutes almost 20. Part of it is because it takes a few prompts to get it right. But, using it to check my work and add some finesse to work is the best balance.
Pokemon TCG Pocket, one of my favorite games to play rn. It can easily be a game like Pokemon GO where you can come in and out and keep on your phone even if you lose some interest. But after watching @spragels video about it, yes please. Create more things to do!! @PokemonTCGP
Im rewatching Journey 2 The Mystery Island and when I watched this when I was younger, I remember thinking this movie was so good and lifelike. Watching it now I can see the CGI and everything. It makes me think about how we were optimistic and curious when we were younger.
Google is great and I am in the ecosystem. Their ease and continuity across devices is awesome. But, is that worth all the data Google is taking? Is that ease of use worth it?
I spent the morning doing a bunch of errands, mundane tasks, and chores that take hours. But, i was done with it all before 12. I then had time to go out with my fiance and do wedding planning at a cafe and enjoy a nice cup of coffee. I guess this is the power of waking up early.
I recently saw something from Nicolas Cole, and it talks about how at work you might be asking for the next big thing, and you’re too busy trying to accomplish the next thing. And this is “Early 20s Syndrome,” and this couldn’t be further from the truth for me.
Lock down a skill. I would like to consider myself a generalist. I work in IT, and I have a pretty good understanding of everything, but I wouldn’t say I’m specialized. So that’s what I’m going to work on. Even content creation i wouldn’t say im the best at one thing.
