Why do they want to tax your pensions if the income tax was only meant for households making over $1 million? VOTE YES ON I-645!
Jamie Pedersen and Bob Ferguson swear the income tax is only for millionaires. Then someone should explain why ESSB 6346 has an entire Part VIII titled "APPLICATION OF TAX TO PUBLIC PENSIONS." Sec. 806 covers teachers. It keeps the old line that TRS pensions are "exempt from any state, county, municipal or other local tax," then adds that the exemption "does not exempt any pension or other benefit… from tax under Title 82A RCW." Title 82A is the unconstitutional income tax.
Retired teachers might want to read that one themselves.
If there is no intention of lowering the threshold, then why did the legislature remove the protections on teachers pensions?
I am absolutely sure that the $350 billion of public pension money just sitting there untaxed, and the unquenchable spending habits of the legislature are totally unrelated.. totally. You can take it to the baker and make a pie crust with that assurance.
VOTE YES on I-645

WA voting system is so rigged man. Why is this ok to put opinions to mislead voters on the ballot itself? The tax is not in place yet, so there's no "decrease" in funding if this passes.

I’m voting YES on all 3 ballot initiatives.
- yes to repeal a state income tax
- yes to protect girls sports
- yes for parents rights in schools
The ballot language is intentionally confusing and untruthful, help out your friends and neighbors.

Everett, Washington schools made Christian kids seal their Bibles in envelopes so nobody else would be "exposed."
Exposed. To a Bible. In America.
Now they're apologizing and paying $275K, with your tax dollars, because they got caught.
That's not neutrality. That's a message.
Your kids don't leave their faith at the school door. Neither do I.
You pick the school board too. Remember that on your ballot.

There isnt a single shred of proof that shows a unvaccinated person has died in over six years from Covid. At this point If you still can't see that the entire thing was nothing more than a massive psyops to get people to take the jab you are completely lost and beyond help.

The hardest part of understanding Bitcoin isn’t watching the price crash.
It’s watching someone you love work harder every year, save what they can, do everything they were told, and still fall further behind.
You can explain inflation. You can send charts. You can talk about 21 million.
Eventually you realize people have to feel the problem before they care about the solution.

Someone told me they can't buy Bitcoin because they're living paycheck to paycheck.
People like him don't understand how wealth works, so let me explain:
Wealth is the ratio between your desires and your ability to fulfill them.
So there are two ways to be rich.
Want a lot and have a lot, or want very little and be content living lean.
Both are wealth. I grew up poor, I've lived the lean version, and it builds a discipline most people never get.
If you're living paycheck to paycheck, there's almost always something you're buying that you don't need. And a dollar not spent is a dollar you keep.
My grandfather used to say the best way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
So fold it. Cut the money leaking out on things that don't matter, and put it into the hardest money the human race has ever had.
A dollar saved in fiat gets debased.
A dollar spent on goods depreciates.
A dollar saved in Bitcoin appreciates.
Then let the pressure change you.
Use the scarcity. Build a side income, cut your expenses, raise the ratio of what you earn to what you spend.
There's an old line from The Art of War: ''if you want your soldiers to fight, burn the boats when you land on the beach. Put your back against the wall so the only way out is forward''
I won't pretend it gets easy. Even on the other side, more money more problems - but get tight with your money, get creative with your earning, and channel that scarcity into something that compounds.
In short, burn the boats and stack sats.
Future you will thank you.

JUST IN: The man who stopped the school shooting in Bend, Oregon, has been identified as 36-year-old Kalub Giamanco.
Giamanco, a carpenter, was reportedly driving home for lunch when he heard gunshots.
After hearing the gunshots, Giamanco, who has a concealed carry permit, followed the suspect into the school.
He then shot and killed 16-year-old John J Griffin moments after the teen opened fire into a special education classroom.
Giamanco, who has two children of his own who attend the school, is family friends with one of the victims, a 7-year-old who uses a wheelchair and was shot in the face.
The 7-year-old survived and is in the hospital.
Three children at Silver Rail Elementary School were killed. Their ages are 5, 8, and 11.
According to Giamanco's brother, Giamanco doesn't feel like a hero because he feels guilty for not being able to save more children.
You are a hero, Kalub.
