Kid one announces that if she ever has children, they will be named ‘Asbestos’ (boy) and ‘Aspartame’ (girl). Beautiful choices.
Things that have annoyed me so far this morning: passive aggressive train announcements, a passenger’s overly crunchy breakfast, the same passenger’s stupid ring tone, and someone repeatedly smacking their cap against their tray table. It’s going to be a long day, isn’t it.
I found some relics of a bygone time. What shall I do with them? Answers on a postcard… an actual one.

A Crown Court in the South East has just listed a bail trial for the first week of 2028.
Ahem, British Cypriot lawyers of my (digital) acquaintance… were we bred to this? Is it in the blood? @Greekbluenose @BarristerWilson
Kid 1’s latest opinion is that there should be a law limiting the number of hair styling products anyone can buy at one time. Like how you can only buy one packet of Neurofen… but for hair gel.
British Cypriot people who might see this: anyone used a firm of solicitors, GB or Cyprus based, to apply for Cypriot Citizenship? Am looking for recommendations.
@Greekbluenose do you know / know of a good firm by any chance?
When you’re running late for a wedding, having flown in from London that AM, and you arrive at the venue with mins to spare, and maybe just enough time to get changed before the ceremony, but the bride is having photos outside as you arrive… currently hiding in our rental car…

Yesterday, we held our masterclass for health care professionals 🌟
Led by mental health clinicians, the masterclass spoke about all things bipolar, including the impact of a late-stage diagnosis and the importance of a specialist treatment pathway 🙌

The criminal justice system has been on its knees for years because Robert and his colleagues voted to defund the police, CPS, courts, probation, prisons and legal aid, causing record court backlogs and overflowing prisons.
Yet apparently the solution is “simple”.
Who knew?

If you are not guilty, you should plead not guilty.
If you are guilty, and there is strong evidence to show that you are guilty, you should probably plead guilty. Not least as you will get a significantly lighter sentence.
Get your legal advice from a lawyer. Not from Twitter.

infuriating to see men suggesting that the purpose of older women is to assist in raising children when their true purpose is to solve crimes.
Never more Bromley than when someone slags off Bromley. You don’t get to call the Churchill gardens rubbish unless you spent your teenage years drinking Thunderbirds by the slides.
What are some guaranteed ways to insult a British person?
I’ve got:
1. Accept a cup of tea, take one sip and then leave the rest
2. Don’t put the next customer divider down in the supermarket
3. Criticise their home town when you’re not from their home town (even though they themselves think their home town is rubbish)
