Ahuizotl
The Ahuizotl is a semi-aquatic marsupial magical creature native to Central America. It possesses blue-black fur that is smooth and slippery, small pointed ears resembling those of a small dog, and sharp poisonous spines. It is an excellent swimmer and omnivore. Its most distinctive feature is a long tail terminating in a five-fingered hand, similar to the hands of a raccoon or monkey, which it uses to grasp objects and prey.
A contemporary description appears in Book 11 of the Florentine Codex: “It has small, pointed ears, just like a small dog. It is black, like rubber; smooth, slippery, very smooth, long-tailed. While the Ahuizotl does occasionally hunt humans, it is not inherently malicious. Offerings of food and the avoidance of pollution in its waterways are ordinarily sufficient to ensure it leaves people undisturbed; under such conditions it may even become protective of people near its given stretch of water. During the Aztec period, dark wizards employed individuals of the species as spies and attackers through magical compulsion. In the absence of such control the creatures respond to respectful treatment.
The Ahuizotl is a protected magical species. Its resemblance to the native water opossum renders it comparatively easy to conceal from non-magical observers.

I made a promise. No more Crossovers. I will keep to it. But keep in mind, actual crossovers have been limited to 1 character from LotR appearing in 1 interlude. And 1 character from DC/Vertigo making an apperance in a single chapter.
The references will be toned down because I see no more need for world building at this juncture. You've got the idea of the world now. It's time to focus on characters and story. I'm going to limit a lot of the world building to the #MalfoidCodex for those who are interested. Which will be on You Tube when I have time to do it. I will say, everything I add is deliberate and designed to enrich the world and characters. Even the Christianity will lead to interesting character dynamics and story beats. It's not there to preach. It's there for several sick AF story beats and to be the spine of the myth arc. As all the references are. Christ is King, Christ is the Truth. Christ wants me to write gender bent Draco Malfoy fanfiction for some reason.
Superman is not turning up. No superheroes are. They're over there. Just off of the page. They've got their own problems. The Augment War WILL become more relevant in it's own time though. Because it's going to be a key part of what I have planned for the sequel series. And what that dodgy bloke had in his bag will be a big part of Book 3 in the fullness of time. Even if that man himself will not.
Stay tuned. Chapter 4 goes live in an hour or so.

The fact that you feel it is irredeemable is precisely why it needs to remain, because the mytho-poetic romance calls for irredeemable sins to be transmuted through labor and suffering into forgiveness.
It's a cornerstone of the idea of Forgiveness and Transcendental love that the love... transcends the irredeemable.

I just can’t get on board with keeping the bathroom scene identical if we’re writing a rivals-to-lovers story.
By Year Six, if their dynamic and subconscious feelings have already begun to take root, Harry slicing her open from head to toe completely shatters the narrative. It crosses the line from compelling drama into something irredeemable. In canon, Harry and Draco were genuine schoolyard enemies, yet even then the aftermath was horrific. But in a romance, having Harry inflict that level of grotesque physical trauma on Malfoid, the girl he is in love with, creates an emotional wall the story can never realistically recover from.
You have to look at Harry’s core morality. No matter how furious he got, he would never have cast an untested, lethal curse at Ron or Hermione, so why would he do it to her? The visual of a male protagonist brutally mutilating his female love interest while she bleeds out on a bathroom floor doesn't read as romantic angst. It reads like sheer cruelty. If you want this relationship to stay viable, the stakes of that confrontation need to be reworked, because as it stands, that is not a hurdle a couple overcomes. It is a point of no return.

You all know AI makes mistakes. I've FINALLY figured out how to maintain consistent character designs and animation styles, but now there's a WHOLE NEW PROBLEM.

Since the very beginning, his voice has been pretty consistent. All I had to do was put "17-year-old British teenage male voice" in the prompt, and I'd get practically the same voice every single time.

Harry Potter applying to become an Auror would be the most ridiculous job interview in wizarding history.
Interviewer: So, education?
Harry: Good O.W.L. results. Didn't exactly finish my seventh year, though.

Harry: Yeah, about that. I might have used a fake name on the application. Wanted to see if I'd get the job on merit alone. Honestly, after the Battle of Hogwarts, half the wizarding world would probably have offered me the Minister's office if I'd asked. It felt a bit embarrassing.
Interviewer: Right. Well, we desperately need Aurors. Too many of our best people have been killed in the war. Do you know anyone else who might be interested?
Harry: Actually, a mate of mine helped me with quite a few of those things. And he's going to marry the future Minister of Magic.
Interviewer: The future Minister of Magic? How on earth could you possibly know that?

The Sectumsempra still needs to happen. From a logistics point, Harry was rash enough to use a spell he didn't know the effects of because he saw her in that moment as the enemy. It is THE low point in their relationship, the furthest point back from which the arrow is shot.

Sometimes you have to tear the readers heart out to inform them how much they care. In the version I voice acted Dracaena was starting to enact a forbidden spell on Harry and his reaction was completely justified... however, in that split second he knew he effed up because he was still standing meaning although she started the action her heart wasn't actually in it so it didn't work. It doesn't tell him that she loves him, but it DOES tell him that she didn't want to kill him.
I've said it before, but you cannot have genuine redemption if there is no conflict. Go ahead, make people understand WHY they care.
There is a reason that Berserk stuck with people. It's not because they support what Griffith did, but rather because they're rooting for Guts and Casca to overcome the pain and PTSD of it all and k!ll Griffiths ass for his utterly horrific betrayal and crimes. However, you had to have a reason to care, and a crime that wounds you proves to YOU how invested you really are.
If you want justice for Dracaena and for Harry to understand why Crucio didn't work... the writer succeeded in their purpose.
Sectumsempra has to happen for Two Hearts One Wand to happen. You cannot have the latter without the former.
Sectumsempra turns Malfoid to Voldemort's cause by making her believe Harry hates her.
That puts her on the astronomy tower roof, that's the reason she lets in the Death Eaters, disarms Dumbledore, and inadvertently masters the Elder Wand.
If she and Harry reconcile prior to this, she doesn't do any of that.
If she doesn't do any of that, Voldemort masters the Elder Wand when he kills Snape and EVERYBODY DIES.
The nadir of the arc is required for it to actually reach its triumphant conclusion. And tradcons who are reinterpreting the scene as domestic abuse or a violation of the chivalric form they want the story to take are doing exactly what leftists have done for 15 years: prioritizing the story advertising their values cleanly and without exception over it actually being a good story or maintaining its internal logic.
