I think we all took Pikmin 3's day selection menu for granted. I've had to play Pikmin 4's boring/long as shit intro like 10 times for footage now.

I would just make a save on day 2 or something (that's what I do for Pikmin 1) only problem with that: File 1 is my 100% file (so I can redo Dandori stuff) File 2 is my final boss file (only boss that doesnt respond!?) and File 3 is a copy so I can reset File 2 once I do the boss

In Pikmin for Switch, pointer controls only work when holding A or B. Nothing you can't adapt to but it feels stilted compared to pointer controls on Wii. Tomorrow the Pikmin 4 demo drops (super hyped), but that means we get to see if Pikmin 4 is the reason for this change.

How do you guys think Pikmin 4 is going to be structured? A lot of people are talking about the game like there will still be "levels", but from the trailers, I've got the impression it's an open-world sort of deal.

I'm thinking you probably select what area of the (what looks to be) elementary school playground at the start of the day. And the red-eyed bulborbs at night have me thinking if you don't return to your ship by night, all the enemies become super-powered and aggressive.
