25 years ago today Welles Crowther gave his life helping others on 9/11. This is the best story @espn has ever done. Share it with your kids and any others who may not have been alive on 9/11 and don’t know what true bravery in the face of evil is.

One of my favorite live performances of Dolly. She was a true believer and her faith was huge. Brings chills. He’s Alive!

One of the all-time great Rock Hall moments: Dolly’s “Jolene” with Rob Halford (Judas Priest), Pat Benatar, Annie Lennox, Simon Le Bon (Duran Duran), Pink, and Sheryl Crow. Zac Brown Band held it down as the house band.
Rest easy, Dolly 🤘

The realest thing my older brother told me is that the only drug he regrets ever taking is heroin. Because not even at the happiest moment of his life did he feel better than after taking it. He only took it one single time.
DOES ANYONE CARE ABOUT THIS BUT ME? THESE MOTHERFUCKERS HAVE BEEN RAPING HARD WORKING AMERICANS FOR DECADES…AND LAUGHING ABOUT IT WHILE THEY DO IT. THIS IS WHAT THE FUCK I HAVE BEEN SCREAMING ABOUT FOR YEARS. ITS EVEN WORSE IN SPORTS. MUCH OF CORPORATE AMERICA NEEDS TO HAVE THEIR PANTS PULLED DOWN AND HAVE THEIR ASSES WHOOPED. PUBLICLY. I DON’T TYPE THIS AS A MAGA GUY OR A CONSERVATIVE. I SPEAK MY TRUTH AS AN AMERICAN WHO LOVES THIS COUNTRY. GOD IS MY WITNESS.

This post from Sally Jenkins is pretty dumb.
But at least it isn’t as cruel and F-ed up as this piece she wrote in 2000 smearing gymnasts abused by both the Karolyis and Larry Nassar.
She calls female gymnasts “animatronic dolls” & when they dare stand up for themselves they’re “hissy pixies.”

It’s OK if you don’t agree with someone on everything. You can still talk to them. Nothing will happen to you.

I walked out of church and opened my phone to see that @ScottAdamsSays is converting to Christianity.
It is NEVER too late.
You are NEVER too far gone.
God's love has a tendency to chase you down, even when you're running away from Him as hard as you can.
It's remarkable.

Where are you?
Taliban just cut off internet in Afghanistan. Girls already banned from schools now lose online education too. A total blackout on knowledge = a blackout on the future. This isn’t “culture” , it is called apartheid against women.
What’s the difference between Boko Haram and the Taliban?
One kidnapped girls in Nigeria, and the world launched #BringBackOurGirls.
The other has erased girls’ education in Afghanistan banning schools, banning the internet, yet there is no global outcry.
Do Afghan women not deserve the same movement?

Having union dues pay nearly $200k to promote a book written by a union boss?
That’s a sweet deal for the union boss
But why should union members be forced to pay for that?

This may be old news among education professionals, but it still hasn't reached the general public. When I mentioned on a public radio talk show a few weeks ago that Mississippi and other Southern states were leading the way on literacy, the other panelists *literally* LOLed.

Charlie Kirk to @RubinReport about Dave's marriage to another man:
“I have no problem with, you know, gay marriage, whatever. Like I believe marriage is one man, one woman. That's my own personal position, right? But I'm never going to tell government to have someone live a life. I think it's cool you're married, I think it's great, and you should have all the same tax benefits, adopt children, it's great. Right?”
