This is how some kids grow up carrying so much hatred for their parents. Hatred towards the dad for the abuse, and sometimes even towards the mum for staying and enduring it..because watching your mum go through abuse and feeling completely helpless to stop it hurts in a way.

This is actually very funny to me that a lot of men are mad at this. I said funny but not surprising. Because why are you upset that I want to defend myself, against someone trying to kill me? So we have now normalized abuse against women in this country? I should stay and allow a man batter me when I have the option of defending myself to the full extent of my power? These are the issues!!! Things like this are not addressed enough.
