‼️ New paper: Normalization Layers Are All That Sharpness-Aware Minimization Needs ‼️
arxiv.org/abs/2306.04226
We show that applying SAM only to the normalization layers of a network (SAM-ON) enhances performance compared to applying it to the full network.

How can an RL agent adapt to new tasks without finetuning? In a nutshell, it can repeatedly update and sample from beliefs about the current task. In my @DeepMind internship work, we approximate these beliefs with a transformer and small graphs. arxiv.org/abs/2302.04250
