FORDA has urged Hon’ble Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw to review “SURYAA -Ant Se Aarambh Tak” over its portrayal of doctors. We oppose unethical practices, but individual misconduct must not malign an entire profession. Protect doctors’ dignity. Safeguard public trust. #Doctor

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written to the Union Information and Broadcasting Ministry to urgently review the promotional content of Sunny Deol-starrer Suryaa – Ant Se Aarambh Tak, alleging that it generalises corruption in the medical profession and depicts violence against healthcare workers in ways that could erode public trust and put doctors’ safety at risk. #IMA #DoctorsSafety #HealthcareWorkers #MedicalProfession #SunnyDeol #Suryaa #PublicTrust #Healthcare #india

Absolutely practice changing!! One of the most stunning developments in the treatment of patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer !! It is one of the rare moments in oncology which you will always remember ! Like the imatinib, trastuzumab presentations @ASCO #ASCO26 @OncoAlert

The breakthrough isn’t the median survival rate doubling, it’s the fact that they’ve finally managed to create a drug that can target the RAS(on) state, rather than selective KRAS mutations. This makes it the first multi selective RAS inhibitor that’s clinically proven to work. The implications are huge. KRAS mutations are found in: 1. 90% of pancreatic cancers 2. 40-50% of colorectal 3. 20-40% lung 4. 19-23% of ALL cancers
Cheers, chills, and a standing ovation when RASolute 302 showed unprecedented survival on daraxonrasib for patients with progressive pancreatic cancer Seldom do you sense you’re witnessing a historic moment in cancer care but this feels like ras targeting has arrived #ASCO26

Presented at #ASCO26: Among patients with previously treated metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma, the RAS(ON) inhibitor daraxonrasib led to significantly longer overall survival and progression-free survival than chemotherapy. Full phase 3 RASolute 302 trial results: nej.md/4nWaxvM @ASCO

A public interest litigation has been filed in the Supreme Court challenging the new Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) policy mandating the teaching of two compulsory languages for Ninth-grade students. Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi mentioned the PIL plea before the Supreme Court today, seeking that the PIL plea be heard by the Court soon. The senior lawyer stated that the plea has been filed by students, teachers and parents challenging the new policy CBSE. "Suddenly, in the 9th standard, two languages have been made compulsory. Very different from what is happening. This will create chaos,” Rohatgi said. A bench led by CJI Surya Kant has agreed to list the plea to be heard next week.

Three language policy policy has no foresight and no vision the only purpose is to burden a child with extra syllabus. Children would be learning 3 languages in 9-10th. That's like half of the syllabus, half of their time only to learn languages. The country doesn't need art graduates, it needs engineers, doctors and scientists. #amitkilhor #kilhor #threelanguage

#CBSE is facing flak over Class 12 marking fiasco. Now it has made #thirdlanguage compulsory for Class 9 students from this academic year. How will it help them in their professional career? Will schools get quality teachers for 3rd language? You are adding to mental stress.

First the NEET paper leak affecting 22 lakh students. Then CBSE Class 12 students receiving unexpectedly low marks from a broken OSM system - many losing their college eligibility. Now lakhs of CBSE Class 9 students suddenly asked to learn a new language from July 1, with no teachers, no textbooks, and Class 6 books being handed to 14-year-olds as a “transitional” fix. Three exams. Three age groups. One Minister. Dharmendra Pradhan ji has not failed once. He has failed every single age group of India’s students at once. Every announcement plunges children deeper into uncertainty. Every failure goes unpunished. The Education Ministry has become a department of disasters. Prime Minister Modi ji - can you at least apologise to the lakhs of children whose futures you and your Minister have destroyed? #SackPradhan

Honored to speak in conference representing pediatric nephrology and role of AI @IptaPedsTx @pcrrticonic @IPNA_PedNeph @ASPNeph @ASNKidney360 @AST_info @ASPNeph @ISNkidneycare
😊🙏🏻 Just wrapped up my session at the AI in Nephrology Conference here at the UC San Diego School of Medicine in La Jolla, and I am truly honored by the incredible turnout! 🌴✨ It was fantastic to see a full room and experience such highly engaging discussions throughout my presentation: "Real-World Applications of AI in Nephrology: Utilization in Patient Care, Education, and Research" 💡 The Biggest Takeaway: It is incredibly encouraging to see how far we have come as a field. We are officially moving beyond isolated model development. The true impact of AI now depends entirely on seamless clinical integration, high data quality, and native workflow alignment. A massive thank you to the organizers and all my brilliant colleagues for the thoughtful exchange and collaboration today. Let's keep pushing the boundaries of what is possible in kidney care! 🤝 Wisit Cheungpasitporn, MD, FACP, FASN, FAST @MayoClinicNeph Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic Advocate for AI in Kidney Care #Nephrology #AIinMedicine #DigitalHealth #KidneyCare #MedicalEducation #ClinicalResearch

When we were in MAMC, and throughout my journey in medical colleges in graduation & post graduation there was an unspoken rule that seniors took care of juniors, helping them adjust to the tough life of residency. Senior most always took pride in paying the bill. That was a way of making juniors feel taken care of. The spirit of medicine should always be supporting those who come after us. Let’s strive to be the bigger versions of ourselves and the support system our juniors deserve. 🙏🏻
Sir, I would like to draw your attention towards the atrocities being committed on first year residents in Maulana Azad Medical College Delhi . In orthopaedics department First year PG pays the Lunch bill of SRs,2nd &3rd year PGs & interns. It costs around 20K ₹/month/resident.

😊🙏🏻 Happy to share our recent work published in Clinical Kidney Journal (CKJ) European Renal Association (ERA) 🎉On “Artificial intelligence for predicting pediatric acute kidney injury: a systematic review and meta-analysis” @CKJsocial Congratulations to Prof. @rupeshrainamd and the entire team for leading this important work advancing AI-driven prediction in pediatric acute kidney injury. This study synthesizes current evidence on AI/ML models for early detection and risk stratification of AKI in hospitalized children—an area with significant clinical impact potential. 🔗 Read the full article: doi.org/10.1093/ckj/sfag063 Title “Artificial intelligence for predicting pediatric acute kidney injury: a systematic review and meta-analysis” Authors: Rupesh Raina, Parth Shirode, Raghav Shah, Aanya Chepyala, Abhishek Tibrewal, Sidharth Kumar Sethi, Wisit Cheungpasitporn 🔗 Read the full article: doi.org/10.1093/ckj/sfag063 As we continue to build, validate, and responsibly implement these tools, moving forward with AI in kidney care is truly exciting. #AI #Nephrology #KidneyCare
