Your GTM team already has a brain. It's scattered across the CRM, the call recordings, the product analytics, and the rep who's on holiday.
Memory was never the hard part. Retrieval is.
Five layers, in order, each with the artifact it produces.
Most of what a GTM team does is admin, not skill. It's the part that eats the evening.
Here are the five prompts I moved into Claude, and the one permission setting that makes it safe to leave running.
Cheap tools don't lower the bar. They raise it.
Altman's right it's the best time to start. But when agents do 3 months of work in 17 minutes, the point isn't to work less. It's to go do 3 months of work. Building is free now, so it's not the moat.
Take the Claude credits. Then build something the model can't become on its own.
Free credits and top rate limits aren't kindness. They're a model company recruiting its ecosystem. Take the fuel, but don't build a thin layer over Claude, that's the first thing absorbed.
Anthropic won't compete with you. Until your category is worth competing for.
That "founder playbook" is a platform recruiting its apps. Salesforce, and HubSpot all said they wouldn't compete, then did. Build where a model lab structurally never will, like marketing software.
Clay didn't drain its moat. The UI was never the moat.
A CLI is just another surface. The real move: they wired Claude plugins in, so agents run Clay through Claude Code.
That's distribution to the terminal-first GTM engineers who spend the most.
At 10% monthly churn, your whole customer base is gone within a year.
Signup isn't the finish line, and neither is revenue. Paying $5 once isn't the win, still paying in month six is. In cheap SaaS, sticky revenue is everything. Obsess over onboarding, lifecycle and churn.

Managing people never worked.
Agents now do the work nobody wanted. So you keep fewer people, and they have to actually want the job and run the AI.
We're heading to flatter teams and a hard sort: who wants the work, and who was only there to be managed.
Mark Cuban says every small business needs someone who can build agents. Almost none of them will learn how.
They won't learn Claude Code or agentic workflows. Ever. So the opportunity isn't teaching owners to build agents. It's handing them the agent, already built and running.
Nobody cares about your startup. They care about the wave it's riding.
You didn't create that wave, the ocean did. Your job is to see it early and be the best way for others to ride it. So talk about the wave, not the tool. Ours is the agentic CMO. Intempt is how you ride it.
Recording the call is a commodity now. Acting on it is where the value went.
The win is turning what's said into the tasks that move the deal, then feeding the outcome back so the model reads the next call better. That needs one context across every surface.
Acquisition got expensive, so marketers are getting a number that used to be sales: expansion revenue.
It's stickier than net new. And it's how the CMO quietly becomes the real CRO. The sales leader never owned net new. The CMO does, and with agents, now the base too.
Marketing is the one function you can't freeze into a machine. Every channel that works eventually saturates and stops.
That's why CMOs churn out. The agentic CMO wins because it learns and adapts. Most humans can't, fast enough, forever. This is Intempt's whole thesis.
Using AI to sharpen your post isn't slop. Handing it the whole post is.
Writers moved from typewriters to Word and nobody called it cheating. What makes something slop is the missing human judgment, not the fact that AI helped.
For 20 years Shopify owned the shopping experience. Agentic AI is quietly taking it.
Shopify calls it "just another channel." It's more than that. Shop inside ChatGPT and the assistant owns discovery and choice. Watch it lean into fulfillment and payments.
US AI ad spend hits $32B this year, nearly triple last year.
Almost none of it runs inside ChatGPT. 80% is paid search next to Google's AI Overviews. Same machine, new surface. And most of it has nothing set up to turn the click into a real customer profile.
