Juvia quickly let go of gray, instead, choosing to hug his arm.
“Juvie is sorry! She got a little too excited.”
She however, was not ashamed of getting too close again. She leaned her head on his shoulder, completely in awe.
“Don’t die, darling!”
Juvia smiled, her arms tightening around gray again. Maybe too tight.
“Yes, I already made plans for it!”
The dramatic reaction made her giggle, she was aware she could be too obvious. “And yes I did, to show my love for you.”
She ruffled his hair, giggling.

He’s as stubborn as ever but he did secretly miss her so that was part of why he let her hug him.

She didn’t notice the smile, but she noticed he wasn’t resisting her hug like he normally did. It was progress in her eyes, at least he didn’t push her away this time.
