Yes. It needs to be like so. Otherwise it would lose the purpose. Good point.

Every control in the Folio issue studio ends up on paper. Treatment → the opening spread. Ink → the drop cap. Trim → bleed. Then the stamp. Made for people who care about type. folio.ooo

Small things I'm proud of: a page meter that counts printer sheets as you add stories, a preview that toggles between trim and bleed, and one spot colour that runs from the drop caps to the cover.

Turbo Vision is back 🪟 My Rust fork of Microsoft Edit now has Borland-style windows: drag to dock, split, swap or float, resize by dragging the borders, F5 to zoom, F6 to cycle. Plus an AI Assistant chat window and modern syntax highlighting. github.com/sichy/edit

Five links I saved and never read. Now they're a 20-page magazine. Folio Issues: pick the stories, drag the running order, choose a format. Out comes a print-ready PDF with bleed and crop marks. No. 01, October 2026. folio.ooo

Formats: magazine (210 × 280 mm), A4, or a 12 × 12 in coffee-table book. Upload the PDF as is to Mixam, Newspaper Club or Peecho, or grab the printer pack for Lulu and Blurb.

Something you saved is being printed. A drop cap. A specimen g. A page number. A corner of a cover. Watch to the last beat. folio.ooo

It's Folio Issues: the links you save, set as a magazine you can print. No. 01 is October 2026.

My new project: Folio. Share a link from your iPhone. Folio fetches the story and its pictures, writes a short standfirst, files it into a section and sets it in a calm, paper-white reader. Then print the best of it. The internet, set in type. folio.ooo

Same photos. Same edits. Three models. We chained 17 precision edits through FLUX 3, Ideogram 4.5 and Nano Banana 2.1, each edit applied to the model's own last output, then measured what else in the photo moved. The answer surprised me 🧵

Takeaway: pick the editor by the job. Iterating on a photo that must stay true? Ideogram 4.5 or FLUX 3. One-off edit or final pass? Nano Banana 2.1. Chaining Nano Banana anyway? Mask each result back outside the edit, or edit from the original in one prompt.

Limits: one run per step, one grader, three images. A focused probe, not a benchmark. All three are Image-to-Image nodes in DreamDwell Lab, so you can run the same chain on your own photos: dreamdwellapp.com

Hang your collection. Share one link. New in DreamDwell: Rack. One product photo per garment becomes a hanger shot with six angle views. Shoppers hover to turn it and click to buy. No hanger shoot. No photographer. No developer. dreamdwellapp.com/rack/dream…
