I'm very disappointed with @SquarespaceHelp. A transfer of a client's domain has gone very wrong, leaving her site down for almost 2 weeks. I don't know what's happened to their support, but this is really bad. Losing access to your business for 2 weeks? Come on.

I'm just 🤓 delighted by the "Insert Text By Typing" action in @keyboardmaestro, which lets me get around text fields on web forms where pasting is disabled (generally not a good UX choice). It's a simple thing, but hoo boy is it nice to have. 👍👍

This is great news. DDEV local is an excellent tool, and I'm glad to hear about this support going forward.
DDEV is the easiest, fastest way to develop locally. Fruition is proud to keep DDEV open-source for the benefit of all developers and agencies. #ddev #php #drupal #typo3 #wordpress fruition.net/about/blog/frui…

I can't wait til Wednesday. Meantime, I want to shout out a couple of my recent favorite tools that have updates out or coming up.

I started using @proxyman_app recently, and it is *fantastic*. It makes the basics easy and the more advanced possible, as the best things do. It's a totally native Mac app — YES. And the lead developer was almost alarmingly responsive to a support request. 😃👍👍

Heeeeeey @jack, take a look at @ThePplConcern. They deliver life-saving services to Los Angeles' most vulnerable neighbors and need your help! It would be a great way to #startsmall and push toward ending #homelessness!

Two substantial nerd victories in the last 24 hours. 1) I replaced the battery in my 2015 MacBook Pro (thanks @ifixit) and 2) Finally understood and solved a frustrating cache issue in the Drupal platform I'm working on. It's amazing how relieving that feels.

Of course this feeling will only last as long as the delay until the next problem, but it's nice in the moment!

The performance of the Finder on macOS is bumming me out lately. I was using Path Finder, but eats memory and crashes too often. Trying ForkLift, but it's not particularly responsive either. Are they any good, fast Finder-replacement apps out there?

Don't say "Terminal", you jokers. I'm hoping for something with the ability to toggle hidden files easily, save groups of tabs, and have fast keyboard navigation. There are other features I use, but those are probably the things I use the most.

Here's a beautiful track from Susan Craig Winsberg, released on YouTube, edited by me in #LumaFusion by @LumaTouch. youtube.com/watch?v=yf7B7fnO…
I second and third everything in this article @randyfay wrote about #ddev, the Docker-based local development stack. It is the only software of its kind I can even stand to use, very well thought through and easy to use. Strong recommendation! ddev.com/ddev-local/whats-so…
