um, me and the other crabs noticed that you were trying to get out of the bucket and that made us really sad :( it's pretty rude of you to try to get out of the bucket without us :(( if you could please just get back in the bucket that'd be great
Would you call the superintendent and light their ass up or start packing your child cold ham and cheese sandwiches?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The depicted letter is a fabrication. No school that could possible meet the criteria (mascot, zip code, two word name) exists. The closest match is Columbia Elementary, however they do not employee a Mrs. Williams. ces.columbiaschools.org/discover-our-s… This is likely a hoax, engagement bait, or farce.

Roadmap to UBI
It's not impossible OpenAI joins in here. They proposed a Public Wealth Fund with a dividend directly to US citizens in April. All the AI labs are desperate to turn public sentiment around, in the absence of any official program this may become the default route.

Believe it or not there was a time when "the government allows all crime" was enough to make a horror movie franchise

which "specific populations" i wonder
The most significant line for me is "direct distributions to specific populations." It sounds to me like they are planning their own form of self-directed global UBI. About half of Anth employees are also donating shares into this fund. They foresee a transformative future.

Long ago, the four condiments lived in harmony. Then everything changed when Frank's RedHot attacked
Hellmann's mayo McCormick spices Cholula hot sauce Frank's RedHot What do these products have in common? One company could soon control them all. I have concerns that McCormick and Unilever's $45 billion merger could increase YOUR grocery prices.

Thinking about the human moat that will remain once AGI-tier models are available. The question is "why would the AI companies sell you a subscription when they can just have the models go do xyz themselves?" I think the answers are: capital, oversight, and legal liability.

Oversight will soon matter less as models improve. This will be more about preference than technical decisions. You can hand over most of these decisions to the models if you want, but at the end of the day, you want things done in a certain way.

I suspect legal liability will have a long tail. Laws won't change quickly, even with AI help. A human doctor will be checking boxes for a long while, even when the models are far superior at medicine.

His Holiness recognizes the need for long-term episodic memory
Intelligence must draw on memory. The mind must not simply compile data — as an algorithm now does more quickly than we can — but recall lived experiences, which contain depths of meaning that only the human soul can recognize, and connect more deeply with the goodness of these experiences. Everything that is good begins “with the Spirit” and thus possesses a breath, a dynamism and a sense of communion that, once experienced, are engraved upon the heart. vatican.va/content/leo-xiv/e…

I'm no expert but i thought when you released a new product you were supposed to call it something new
Today, Google announced Gemini. Yes you read that right.
