OLD YouTube vs NEW YouTube Three things that flipped 👇 📦 Packaging: you used to write titles for the search bar. Now the title and thumbnail ARE the pitch. ⏱️ Length: you used to stretch everything to 10:00 for mid-rolls. But padding kills retention now, and retention is what you need. 🔎 Discovery: subscriber count used to be the whole game. Now most views come from Browse and Suggested, which means every upload starts cold and has to earn it on its own. The channels struggling right now are usually running an old playbook.
