🇮🇳 Indian Diaspora in London Comes Out in Strong Support of PM Modi Ji at the High Commission of India! 🇮🇳
Yesterday, a large gathering of the Indian diaspora assembled outside @HCI_London to express their unwavering support and solidarity with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji.
This spontaneous gathering reflected the genuine, organic and deeply rooted Pro-Bharat sentiment of Indians living abroad.
The gathering also sent a powerful message to those spreading misleading narratives and attempting to undermine Bharat’s democratically elected government.
The message was loud and clear: The Indian diaspora stands united with Bharat, its democracy and PM Shri @narendramodi Ji! 🇮🇳
Bharat Mata Ki Jai! 🇮🇳

Some media organisations report that the Union Home Secretary has tendered an unconditional apology to the Honourable Supreme Court in response to a contempt notice. In this regard, this is to state:
Whenever a contempt notice is issued by the Honourable Supreme Court, it is required that the party responding to the notice must begin their affidavit with an unconditional apology. Only thereafter all other facts and arguments are presented. This is mandatorily followed in every contempt petition.
Following this practice, the first paragraph of the affidavits filed by the Home Secretary, Commissioner of Police, and other concerned officials complied with this requirement.
Thereafter, detailed particulars in the affidavit have been furnished, by which it has been clearly established that all actions taken by the Government and the Police are fully compliant with the law, and no case of contempt is made out against them.

Some evenings are about more than a gathering. They are about coming together to celebrate how far we have come and where we are headed.
Samagam brought together our alumni, faculty, students, members of the Institute’s wider community, and esteemed members of the Board of Governors for an evening of conversations, memories, and celebration.
The evening featured reflections and addresses by Shri Shishir Kumar Bajoria, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Shillong and Head of S K Bajoria Group; Dr. Arun Mohan Sherry, Director, IIM Shillong; and Prof. Sanjeeb Kakoty, Alumni Chair, IIM Shillong, alongside vibrant cultural performances showcasing the rich traditions of the Northeast and moments of connection.
At the heart of the evening was a milestone for the entire IIM Shillong community: the Institute’s achievement of dual international accreditation by AACSB and EQUIS. A recognition of IIM Shillong’s continuing pursuit of excellence and a milestone made meaningful by the collective efforts of the community that has shaped its journey.
From alumni reconnecting with their alma mater to new conversations taking shape across generations, Samagam was a celebration of the bonds that make IIM Shillong a community for life.
Here’s to the legacy we carry, the milestones we celebrate, and the journey ahead.

VIDEO | On the ECI summoning two TMC factions over the party symbol issue, BJP leader Shishir Bajoria says, "...This (TMC) party never had any real foundation; their only foundation was looting. Now that they no longer have the state treasury or power in their hands, fighting among themselves has become their only basis. As far as the election symbol is concerned, there are two possibilities, and it depends on the Election Commission. One possibility, as has happened in our country before and has been done by the Election Commission, is that when there is a dispute between two factions of a party over the election symbol, the symbol is kept in abeyance and both factions are asked to choose separate symbols. That has happened before. The second possibility is that the Election Commission calls both factions and examines which side has more elected members. It considers the entire strength of the party and then gives the election symbol to the faction it believes is the real party..."
