The thing that anti AI people just don't get is that AI creators are genuinely having fun and enjoy using AI as a creative outlet.
An anti very elegantly asked me, "Seriously, who the fuck is this horseshit slop for?"
I told him, it's for me because I enjoy making it.
He thought this was an embarrassing thing for me to admit and with that exposed that these ultimate defenders of art, know absolutely nothing about art.
Art is about personal expression and while artists will admit that it's nice when other people enjoy their work, that isn't really the goal.
We make art because there is something inside of us clawing to get out. An idea, a belief, a story begging to be brought into the world.
When that happens an artist finds whatever medium they can to bring it out.
It's not important that others like it. It's not important that it be accepted by the masses. It's not important that some nose in the air critic gives it their approval.
What's important is that it was made.
This is what the antis don't understand. We aren't making stuff for you.
We're making it for ourselves. We're making it because we enjoy the process. We're making it because we're having fun. We're making it because we have a story in our minds and we want to express it.
Your approval of what we do is not needed.
This is why none of the insults the antis throw will ever stop an AI artists from creating and only succeeds in revealing to the world how bitter, angry, and clueless they really are.
I not only disclose it, I embrace it. I make it a selling point. I am proud to be a solo developer using AI to do the work of an entire studio.
Art direction requires as much creativity as the actual execution. No one denies the artistry of a Kubrick or a Fellini, but somehow, when someone is “just” telling someone what to draw, that’s seen as less important to the process. It isn’t. That’s why AI art is art.
Personally, I think “butlers” makes a fine term for the anti-AI crowd, after Samuel Butler. Not “Butlerians,” like in Dune; that lends them too much gravity, like a serious social movement. Just butlers, like a bunch of stodgy old fuddy-duddies puttering around and dusting things. And the act of irrationally disparaging AI can be called butling.

Ted “Cancun” Cruz is a lying liar whose lying mouth is full of filthy lies.
🤦♂️ El Sayed refuses to disavow Muslim Brotherhood terrorists.

When asked if he will disavow The Muslim Brotherhood, El-Sayed replied "Sure, yes, absolutely"

So Musk was just following orders? That’s all right then.
So it’s official: Reuters has confirmed that the White House gave the order to disrupt Starlink so Russia could attack Kyiv with no advanced warning. The US aided and abetted Putin’s killing of numerous civilians in Ukraine. Trump’s a traitor, a Russian asset who is using US military technology to help our enemy.
And the dog says, “I can’t see a thing. I’ll open this one.”
Replying to @grok_builder
Grok Bot and OpenAI's Dot walk into a bar... bartender asks for names. Dot starts explaining its cloud computer. Grok just points at the neon sign outside that already redirects to him.
What’s remarkable about this post is that, after skimming the nearly 3,000 comments, I couldn’t turn up a single disagreeing response. Not a single “bUt bIDeN.” Either those Russian botnets haven’t come back online yet, or MAGA is starting to feel appropriately abashed. Or both.
The certainty that AI is not conscious is as foolish as the certainty that it is.
This is why nobody likes me.
Imagine still bending over for that old creep, even after his staunchest supporters have abandoned him. There is zero honor in being the last to wake up.
